Cauliflower is nasty.
2007-01-10 05:55:13 PM
I eat everything on that list, but I compensate by drinking vast quantities of beer and Crown Royal.

So what the hell does that mean?
2007-01-10 06:27:13 PM
I don't see beer or pizza on that list. Pffft ;)
2007-01-10 06:36:20 PM
if 1-15 aren't different cuts of steak, this list can shove it.
2007-01-10 06:49:02 PM
honey has an extremely high glycemic index. it's better than refined sugar because it has some nutritional value, but it's no health food.
2007-01-10 07:06:11 PM
And yet, I don't eat a single one of them.

Okay Tomato sauce on pasta..
2007-01-10 07:07:40 PM
How come the livers of my mortal enemies aren't on the list?
2007-01-10 07:13:33 PM
There's a fair bit of pseudoscience in the article, I see. They ought to mention that a lot of these are sources of fibre, which people generally don't get enough of, and stop picking on things (eg. vitamin E, potassium), that most people do get enough of.
2007-01-10 07:13:54 PM
Not a single food on that list contains a saiginifant amount of protien. I guess that's not important. What kind of stupid hippy made up this list anyway?
2007-01-10 07:52:48 PM

LOL! you and I have alot in common.
2007-01-10 08:10:35 PM
I knew my evening dirty vodka martini with 3 olives was healthy.
2007-01-10 08:39:25 PM
I didn't see "Love Taco" and "Bearded Clam" anywhere on that list...
2007-01-10 08:59:33 PM
I think he forgot something

If it's not on the Del Taco menu, I'm out of here!
2007-01-10 09:34:20 PM
No kimchi? What a load of shiat!
2007-01-10 09:58:28 PM
Juice, toast, milk, & Trix.
2007-01-10 10:07:10 PM
Andy Capp's Hot Fries strangely absent from the list. Further research needed.
2007-01-10 10:26:06 PM
Disability Insurance?
2007-01-10 10:28:38 PM
So what they are saying here is that I need to switch diets with my guinea pigs?

/Suprised almonds were not on that list

That's not food. That's what food eats.
2007-01-10 10:30:56 PM
Can't I get all of those things from a multi vitamin and continue eating tacos every night?
2007-01-10 10:31:14 PM
Where's my Oatmeal, biatch!?
2007-01-10 10:31:23 PM
2007-01-10 10:32:24 PM
That's not food. That's what food eats.

I lol'd.
2007-01-10 10:32:45 PM
I've been getting along in life quite well without flaxseed and yams, thank you very much.
2007-01-10 10:33:00 PM
Ha! Doctor said I can't eat half of that stuff!

I got an itis
/No, not THE itis
2007-01-10 10:33:34 PM
I GROW most of that stuff, including the honey,

Beer and whisky FTW!
2007-01-10 10:33:36 PM
"Hookers drenched in chocolate" strangely absent from the list...
2007-01-10 10:33:49 PM
I'm good on at least half of those.

and BTW cauliflower is not nasty
it hardly tastes like anything.

You may have a texture issue, in which case try it fresh
with a dip.

Mmmm. Fooooood.
2007-01-10 10:34:50 PM
I have given up all these items, and in fact, I'm trying to cut out all natural foods. I figure that if I can go entirely artificial then there will be nothing in me that can die.
2007-01-10 10:35:04 PM
That list needs more bacon.
2007-01-10 10:35:39 PM
Try roasting the cauliflower if you're not too keen on it's flavour.

Also, try making a cauliflower soup. And, yes, bacon was missing from the list.
2007-01-10 10:35:39 PM
gatorade, tacos, beer.

2007-01-10 10:37:25 PM
The dumbasses missed beer
2007-01-10 10:37:41 PM
Plums - it's hard to get good-tasting ones even in season.
Prunes - no thanks.
Cauliflower - flavorless.
Olives - yuck. (Olive oil is good, though).
Flax seed - I'll see if my parrot has any.
Strawberries - see "Plums" above.
2007-01-10 10:38:20 PM
too much sugar in this list.

/and where the heck is the spinach?
2007-01-10 10:38:21 PM
Also consider this: butter has a relatively long shelf life. Heavy cream is next, half and half, whole, 2%, 1%, and then skim milk expires the fastest of those. Given that, isn't the best way to ensure you don't expire quickly to increase the amount of fat you contain?
2007-01-10 10:38:39 PM
and bushmills
2007-01-10 10:38:49 PM
beef jerky
2007-01-10 10:38:52 PM

/BTW da ramen god died the other day.
//been out of town working- no fark- didn't see if it was posted
2007-01-10 10:39:16 PM
pez. cherry pez.
2007-01-10 10:39:30 PM
gatorade, tacos, beer.

Gatorade is great for replenishing the electrolytes lost from shiatting out the tacos and puking up the beer on your arresting officer.

Not that I know about that first hand. Really.
2007-01-10 10:39:41 PM
Methinks that if you were to eat all 15 of those foods, each and every day, your arse-cheeks would quickly become commom-law partners with your toilet...
2007-01-10 10:39:45 PM
No Hot Pockets??????
2007-01-10 10:40:17 PM
Hell, put some foie gras on that list! I don't want to accidentally read another PETA article again!
2007-01-10 10:40:29 PM

You must not live in the right parts of the country.
