Maybe bush should be sent to his room and bush sr. should take over for the last 2 years. I would say that it counldn't get any worse but in 6 year bush has allowed a terrorist attack to happen even tho he was warned. He invaded iraq base on a lie and let it descend into civil war and he let thousands of people die in NO because he didn't have the stomache to take charge and nominate compitent leadership for fema.

I'd bet H.W. Bush and his son have had more than one heart-to-heart talk about Iraq since 9/11.

What was said and when, we'll probably never know.

What Bush, Sr. will NOT do is publically denounce his son, the sitting President of the United States.

Undermining what little dignity and athourity Bush Jr. has remaining would only hurt the current situation, bad as it is.

I think the Bush family live in an interesting scenario. They are related (Son, Father, Husband) to one of the most vile and hated men in modern times. How do you react to that?

"Oh your son is George Jr? The guy who completely messed up the Middle East, started a war, and increased terrorism worldwide? You must be sooooo proud!"

Or dating Jenna's kids 40 years from now:
"Wait, your grand-dad is THAT guy? I learned about him when we learning about Hitler! Hitler had nothing on him!"

Stupid dynastic families. I wonder what would happen if a Bush mated with a Kennedy?

Would the match produce the One True Moderate?

Or would they fizz on contact, burning horribly in the crotchal regions as the Brits and Canadians gasped in horror?

I move that someone Photoshop this possibility.
