So, North Americans in fur coats are bad but it's OK for Mongolians to wear them? For shame, PETA, for shame. I'm going to eat a burger right now just to register my disgust.

The artical says that PETA has hired Mongolian women to cut the fur coats into slim strips to bind the inner linings of their traditional winter coats. The people don't actually get to wear them.

Like the headline says, there's not enough Dumbass tags to go around. I'm sure someone over there would actually, you know, WEAR the coat. Or why not let sell it and buy them 4,000 rolls of yarn instead?

Props for employing the locals, though. Hopefully they're paid well.

Meh. They'd get more fur if they cut Ron Jeremy into little strips. They could sell the video of it, too.

That's actually a cool thing for PETA to do. Well, asides from losing the coat. I didn't know they donated fur to people who need them.
