I've never seen a more flametastic headline for such a non flame worthy article.

Don't you mean "stampies" off?

Given how PP actually took companies to court for offering to provide free ultrasounds at crisis pregnancy and abortion clinics?

Yeah, flame on.

Yeah I heard of that too. I'm no fan of planned parenthood but the headline is just begging for a needless flamewar.

Yeah, I hate those jerks and the fact that they give me free birth control so I don't even have to think about having to get an abortion. Those heartless, evil bastards.

ok.

can we get planned parenthood to hand out pamphlets on how great life would be without rugrats running around out in front of a church daycare, too?

@jackycane,

you own a computer and an internet connection, but you mooch your birthcontrol?

"Animals were trained to sit still near the scanners and we also inserted cameras into the womb via the elephant's rectum-But it has been worth it.

i'll bet the elephant diagrees.

I'm no expert on Elephant physiology, but I think they were insulting the camera into the wrong hole?

I technically have no taxable income, which is what they ask about. I donate instead.

/what was that about assumptions?

Um, isn't anything that's inserted into the rectum generally getting insulted by default?

@jackycane

you make money. You take free birthcontrol. Um, no I think I was right.

Are you a moron? Should I lie on the questionnaire? They don't charge me, I freely give them the market value. What part of that is too much to understand?

You're entirely missing the point, which is that they are by and large an awesome organization that has a sliding scale for birth control to PREVENT abortions.

Back to the article, it's a very nifty image but I fail to understand the pro-lifers who are trying to somehow make an anti-abortion case out of it, as well as the failed flame attempt in the headline.

Fetuses are so amazing. That's why I'm pro-abortion, because why should something so miraculous always go unseen?

I don't care if you support abortion or not (because I think it's largely a political issue).

But you should see one performed (pops) (NSFW or people who can't handle reality, seriously).

Welcome to the real world.

Meh.

I don't want to watch cattle being slaughtered either. I'd probably barf at the sight. Won't stop me from completely enjoying the tasty ribeye that is the result though.

/probably bad using a food analogy
//Fetus burger, anyone??

So, you didn't click on the link?

This is far worse than cattle. Formed, tiny feet and hands... arms... legs. Awful stuff.

10 U.S.C. 311

Most people agree partial-birth and third-term abortions are morally questionable.

However, these cases make up a vary slight percentage of abortions performed.

If you want to be morally outraged at anybody, look at the Republican party. They're the ones that pushed through legislation without exceptions for a mother's health.

Even the guy in the mail room knew it was going to be overturned.

Besides if you're so anti-abortion, don't have one. Otherwise keep your moral shock to yourself.

/why are the leaders of the anti-abortion movement mostly male?

Far worse than seeing animals slaughtered? I think not.

Pictures like that can easily be equated to the "Meet Your Meat" videos that PETA uses. They are both graphic, unpleasent, and disgusting.

The formed tiny hands/feet bit? Try early term...

Wrong.

(d)(1) A defendant accused of an offense under this section may seek a hearing before the State Medical Board on whether the physician's conduct was necessary to save the life of the mother whose life was endangered by a physical disorder, physical illness, or physical injury, including a life-endangering physical condition caused by or arising from the pregnancy itself.
Text of the law (pops)

But I bet it feels good to be a self-righteous prick.

and:

§ 1531. Partial-birth abortions prohibited
(a) Any physician who, in or affecting interstate or foreign commerce, knowingly performs a partial-birth abortion and thereby kills a human fetus shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 2 years, or both. This subsection does not apply to a partial-birth abortion that is necessary to save the life of a mother whose life is endangered by a physical disorder, physical illness, or physical injury, including a life-endangering physical condition caused by or arising from the pregnancy itself. This subsection takes effect 1 day after the enactment.
