Bravo. Every new thing that he says makes me feel more and more relieved I didn't vote for him in '04. Wish I'd just written in Richard Pryor, or "None of the above" instead of voting for the other guy, though.

Fair and balanced: you decide.

Education: If you don't make the most of it you might not know who the Senate Majority Leader is.

JOHN KERRY IS NEWS

2006-11-16 6:52:54 PM
TFA:
The ABC reporter said Kerry left the room behind Democratic Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev.; Whip Dick Durbin, D-Ill.; Caucus Secretary Patty Murray, D-Wash.; and Caucus Vice-Chair Schumer, D-N.Y. However, when Schumer noticed Kerry, D-N.Y.

Well we might not exactly love the man, but last time I checked he was massachusetts' senator.

/not for long?
//please?

I wonder why Schumer's name never comes up as somebody who wants to run for president. He impressed me during the Alito/Roberts hearings, just by being the one guy who didn't need ten minutes to phrase a simple question.

Schumer's a ballsy Jew from Brooklyn who doesn't take shiat from anybody, and I mean all of that with the utmost admiration, whatever else I may think of his politics.

Do I have to do everything myself?

Kerry's getting a lot of media time with his CountryWide advertisement gig.

Agreed. I don't agree with his politics, but he's got a pair.
Had a run-in with the OTHER NY Senator early on when she
put out press releases claiming credit for one of HIS bills.
She doesn't do that anymore......

Not too many Senators make it to the White House, though.
Isn't it mostly House members and Governors?

I spent some time with Schumer before running news cameras at a press conference he was giving... I don't agree with all of his politics, but he's a really sharp guy. In person, he's not anywhere near as weasel-like as he appears when surrounded by his fellow dems on TV. If he was telling Kerry to get lost, it was probably for good reason.
