If it's anything like 'Thunderdome,' it should be delayed longer, perhaps until the heat-death of the universe.

Fur-covered kids, midget-driven train chases, and cowhide-bodied cars are teh ghey.

Yeah, but to a kid who is growing out of Ewoks and Muppets, midgets on a train are an awesome next step.

/take that as you will
//at least try to keep your mind out of the gutter, will ya?

"When Mad Max IV faltered, Miller said that he was asked by Warner Brothers to helm the animated penguin musical Happy Feet instead. "They had the script over at Warner Brothers, and when Mad Max IV was slowing down, [they] said, 'We can't wait too much longer. Let's do it.'"

/wtf?

Well that's actually true, since they're the cause of all the movies in the world (Hollywood, at least). :p

No Gibson as he's doing penance for his dumb-ass remarks. 40 years of wandering the (Australian) desert for you!

Did somebody say Thunderdome?

*shrugs*

I liked "Thunderdome". Yeah, I could have done without the "lost children" storyline; aside from that I enjoyed and have seen it many times, but I first saw it on a double bill with "Back To The Future" at the drive-in ... good times. My bigger beef about this is a common one ... I'll never, ever understand why they take franchises with good-to-decent reputations and insist on running them into the ground. And I don't know why Miller would bother without Gibson.

If they'd stopped at 2, I'd have been so happy!
