Wow. Just wow. I work in a library, and I still found this to be breathtakingly pointless.

Barbara Gordon is a computer-savvy librarian using the name Oracle. Before she was shot by the Joker, restricting the use of her legs, she was known as Batgirl.

0ok is BATMAN!

(I also worked in a library... pointless!)

I see no mention of catheters covered in infectious goo, so I'm going to have to question the depth of their investigating.

The link was supposed to point here, specifically at the "computer and video games" section ... but it still got green-lighted, so what the hell do I care?

im kind of surprised at all of the librarians on tf.

I had to do an assignment about the portrayal of librarians in popular culture for my library science intro course. it was pretty interesting. I chose to watch the Station Agent, a fine movie if you've never seen it.

It's a great job if you don't work in a public library. Just make sure that you go to a university that grants faculty status to librarians so you can get tenure. The additional research workload kind of sucks, but the additional cash and research leave makes it well worth it.

I am in possession of a copy of a novel set in a public library, it's called 'Between The Stacks' and it's by Barry Bowes [ISBN 0 905150 10 4]

*Looks over top of sensible librarian glasses, waves at all the Fark librarians

Wikipedia is getting a little out of hand with the lists. I think I'll contribute one: "Objects at FSU I stuck used chewing gum to the underside of."

I'm surprised this guy wasn't mentioned, though
