(As seen on the streets!)   I saw the Bimbo delivery truck in my neighborhood. I'm not sure how to place an order though -- Con el carino de siempre   ( divider line

I thought the site was cute (but really annoying load times). I am just waiting for Wal-Mart to carry Glico products.

/wants cheap Pocky!

In Oklahoma (of all places), Wal-Mart's carried Pocky for at least a year. In fact, you can even get wasabi green peas and instant miso there too. Not much of a savings, if at all, compared to the local Asian supermarkets.

Anymore, though, walking into Wal-Mart just feels like I'm living in Mexico. Then again, I'm lucky if at least one person at McDonald's can count my change back to me in English. It's no problem for the Vietnamese kid, so I don't know what their excuse is.

Aww...I was really hoping it'd be what it sounded like. In Amsterdam, you can call delivery services that get a prostitute to your door in 30 minutes.

I dunno about their pastry stuff, but Bimbuñuelos are tasty motherfarkers. Crunchy wheels of funnel cake!

Bimbo also makes little crunchy snacks, if memory serves. I believe they made the little bags of plantain chips I ate in Puerto Rico. Not the best munchie I've ever eaten, but a nice change of pace.

My fave import of the moment is Jarritos soda. It's becoming increasingly popular in the DC area. All the fruit flavors are quite yummy, but beware of Tamarindo. It tastes like acid reflux (really).

Oh my gosh! I saw this in Mexico, but I had no idea that they were in the U.S. too!

"With the same affection as always"

If they're not the same company that makes the cookies in Puerto Rico, I don't give a shiat.

Best care package I received from my mom had a bunch of winter clothes (I was in NY) with little packages of said delicious cookies dispersed throughout...

Two of the 7-11s (probably all of them, though) in my area sell Bimbo. They make some pretty good bakery products. They certainly don't taste preservative heavy as some brands, in my experience.
