I am aghast.

Don't worry Mr. Standaert. I'm a U2 fan, and I didn't hear anything about this until today, either.

2006-07-30 3:54:47 PM
Actually, I heard about it Friday. Beat you, Mr. Whiny Pants!

Ha!

Since when are "Bono... Gore (and) Murdoch" world leaders?

Saints preserve us from self-important journalists.

The only thing that would make this more pathetic would be if the guy was a blogger.

Yes, a blogger who was upset because he emailed for an invitation and didn't receive a reply within 3 minutes/

geez, can't a bunch of guys just get together and have their fantasy football draft without everyone wanting to cover it?

2006-07-30 5:51:45 PM
Since when did Yahoo start aggregating pathetic MySpace posts?

2006-07-30 5:53:29 PM
Hah! He's going to listen to some Dashboard Confessional and cry himself silly for a week.

2006-07-30 5:55:21 PM
(taps man on the shoulder) "Actually sir, that wouldn't be ironic."

Chainik Hocker: Since when are "Bono... Gore (and) Murdoch" world leaders?

It didn't say political leaders.

Gore is a leader of Global Warming campaigning, Murdoch is a leader in putting half-naked women in British 'newspapers' and other sources of media and Bono is a leader in the field of wearing sunglasses and self-rightiousness.

2006-07-30 6:06:03 PM
Bono is a tool

SmellsLikeRoastedGod: and Bono is a leader in the field of wearing sunglasses and self-rightiousness.

Oh, and he might have helped start something called the One Campaign. I heard that rumor somewhere.

Since the US won the cold war your ideology has been out of style. No more party invites for you.

/thought the headline said "aghast communist"
//dislexics of the world untie!

Maybe he's more incensed by the fact it costs ten dollars to drive through a gated community.

2006-07-30 6:50:53 PM
Why do these media a-holes think they are the fourth branch of government?

2006-07-30 6:54:03 PM
Go whine to someone who cares.

2006-07-30 7:20:36 PM
Meh. I got an invite but told them I was busy washing my dog this weekend...and I don't even have a dog.

2006-07-30 7:46:10 PM
Qhit whining and go interview Jesse Jackson. He didn't get invited either.

2006-07-30 7:55:29 PM
Somebody actually pays this guy to write for them?

2006-07-30 8:25:24 PM
I always wondered what people I don't know think about issues I don't care about. Now I know, and though it's frightening, I feel better.

2006-07-30 8:37:48 PM
I just came here to say that when I first read the headline, I was certain it said "communist."

2006-07-30 10:02:41 PM
Who? I want my 30 seconds back.

2006-07-30 10:24:23 PM
I laugh at the idea that when someone sees "Gore, Bono, and Murdoch" together in a sentence, he or she calls Bono the tool.

2006-07-30 10:39:28 PM
That's the self-rigtheous assholes that are "the media." The only rights they care about are their own.

It's like how the embedded journalists willingly put our troops at risk by broadcasting behind enemy lines against direct orders to do so.

Sure you're giving away troop locations, but at least you have a shot at a media created award of recognition.

2006-07-30 10:41:59 PM
Actually, they're all tools. Happy now?

2006-07-30 10:47:46 PM
They were there for teh vodak duhhhrinking contest.

Hillary and Cain were notably absent as they're in training for the Stoley World Vodak Contest - Spring 2007.

2006-07-30 11:05:16 PM
Quit whining.

This matters to the rest of us, ummm, help me out here, Einstein. Please give it a better shot than last time.

/for the record: it's Stoli
