She'll have to work extremely hard to get my vote.

Huh huh. "Hard."

2006-07-14 4:31:45 PM
This next presidential election is going to be fun to watch ...

2006-07-14 4:35:27 PM
She's unelectable. Moderate Dems perceive her as power hungry and out of touch with average Americans.

2006-07-14 4:40:02 PM
What.. Don't democrats actually want a shot at the white house?

2006-07-14 4:40:09 PM
No we don't, Butterworth.

The problem is going to be if McCain runs against her. That would be a first for me -- having to choose a president based on virtue rather than the lesser of two evils.

Clinton vs Anyone But McCain: Clinton wins
McCain vs Anyone But Clinton: McCain wins:
Clinton vs McCain: Damnit

Well, great. Go ahead and run. More the merrier. You'll never hear me complain about a candidate deciding to run.

Good farking luck getting my vote, though.

2006-07-14 4:43:30 PM
Greaaaaat. My party of choice is going to with a female Joe Lieberman.

/Not quite sure if I'm right to make that comparison, but that's how it "feels".

2006-07-14 4:47:11 PM
Too far right for my taste.

Well, McCain would never survive a Republican primary. The moderates might get on board, but the base simply would not allow it. Remember the illegitimate black child thing. It'd happen again, or something even sleazier. So he's out.

Hillary's a bit more complicated to think about- those who like her, love her. Those who don't like her, see her as the embodiment of everything that is wrong with Congress and, given the choice of voting for her or being anally raped by a giant mutant fire ant, would drop trou and bend over without even giving it a second thought. The kicker is, those who hate her can't seem to agree on an alternative- some go with Biden, some go Feingold, some prefer Richardson, etc. Were they to band together and agree on a compromise candidate, they could take out Hilary (who herself falls significantly short of a clear majority). Question is, can that compromise candidate be found in time?

She doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell.

Go'fer it Hillary, your the best candidate the GOP could wish for.

Something has to change.
Un-deniable dilemma.
Boredoms not a burden
Anyone should bear.

Constant over stimulation numbs me
But I wouldnt want you
Any other way.

Just, not enough.
I need more.
Nothing seems to satisfy.
I said, I dont want it.
I just need it.
To breathe, to feel, to know Im alive.

Finger deep within the borderline.
Show me that you love me and that we belong together.
Relax, turn around and take my hand.

I can help you change
Tired moments into pleasure.
Say the word and well be
Well upon our way.

Blend and balance
Pain and comfort
Deep within you
Till you will not want me any other way.

But, its not enough.
I need more.
Nothing seems to satisfy.
I said, I dont want it.
I just need it.
To breathe, to feel, to know Im alive.

Knuckle deep inside the borderline.
This may hurt a little but its something youll get used to.
Relax. slip away.

Something kinda sad about
The way that things have come to be.
Desensitized to everything.
What became of subtlety?

How can it mean anything to me
If I really dont feel anything at all?

Ill keep digging till,
I feel something.

Elbow deep inside the borderline.
Show me that you love me and that we belong together.
Shoulder deep within the borderline.
Relax. turn around and take my hand.

Never in a brazillion years. McCain or Clinton have about as much hope of ever making the White House as Nader or Buchanan.

I'd feel much better if Feingold won the Democratic nomination. Personally, I don't think Hillary has a chance in hell to win the nomination, but we still have a long way to go. It could even be someone like Evan Bayh.

Who knows?

2006-07-14 5:13:09 PM
She will not be nominated. You can stop talking about it now.

falcon176: the democrats could run adolf hitler and still beat the republicans.

Yeah they tried that whole "anyone but Bush" approach last time. It worked SO well!

Maybe the GOP isn't winning cause people love the GOP, but because they hate the Dems? Isn't it sad that in our society, voting has now become a matter voting AGAINST someone, rather than voting FOR someone?

McCain vs Clinton, she gets my vote.

far right Repub vs Clinton, she gets my vote.

Most Repubs vs Clinton, hey, she still gets my vote.

MAYBE Guiliani would get my vote over her. Depends on the campaign.

I've been voting against Dems for a while, but they have some good folks waiting in the wings. Unless the Kossacks drive them off.

Well, she did such a good job with universal health insurance last time she was in the whitehouse.

Mr. Butterworth: She's unelectable. Moderate Dems perceive her as power hungry and out of touch with average Americans.

That's funny... Liberal Dems perceive her as callow, insincere and out of touch with traditional Democratic Party principles.

I know a decent number of Democrats, and I don't personally know a single one who wants Hillary to run or who would choose her as their nominee. I'm sure such people exist, but in reality she's not very popular among Democrats, for very good reasons.

With very few exceptions, the people who assume that she will be the nominee in '08 all seem to be Republicans.

Fixed. Not everyone who is voting Repub right now is a Republican. . . it's just the Democrats have clung a little too closely to the batshiat-insane wing of their party.

G'damn Boojum2k that is too funny. I can't tell if you are trolling or not. I think you should've thrown a "libtard" or "moonbat" in there just to cement it.

People were saying the same thing about John Kerry right before the Iowa Caucases.

2006-07-14 5:49:29 PM
She's not electable. You're gonna need some pissed off Republicans to vote for her, and not many are willing to do that. You've got a lot of angry Republicans looking for an alternative in the next election. Republicans who are wanting to vote Democrat IF you give them a viable alternative. Hillary ain't it. She'll polarize the parties and you'll have a repeat of the Bush v. Kerry campaigns.

2006-07-14 5:50:10 PM
What about Barak Obama? Or is he not experienced enough? What's he like as a senator (not a constituent)? I hear about Hillary because my parents live in NY. Just curious...

I bet all the GOP has to do to win the 2008 election is promote some kind of "Republican Revolution," promising that they've seen their errors and now they're different. Then just toss in the gay marriage issue and call the Democrats pussies - bingo, they've won.

Who cares? I mean, really. I'm rooting for Feingold, there's almost nothing that can change my mind on that, so can we stop discussing this until after the next Congress gets sworn in at the very least?

2006-07-14 6:02:41 PM
Oh great. As if John Kerry wasn't bad enough as a Presidential candidate, now the country gets to suffer because Hillary just has to stand there and drive off everyone who's sick of "more of the same" politicians like her.

What happened to you, Democratic party? You used to be cool.

Hillary doesn't have the strength or self-respect to leave that loser abusive husband of hers. She doesn't deserve any of the female vote until she gets rid of that asshat she calls a husband.

//yes, adultry is abusive

I can't stand that lady. She's as sleazy as a lawyer can be.

Yes, not getting divorced is the easy way out. She should just get divorced, that would make her more respectable,by showing everyone how easily she gives up.

Republicans would never cheat, they're too respectable...

Rep. Henry Hyde
Broke up a family during his seven year adulterous affair!
Mike Bowers
Cheated on his wife for FIFTEEN YEARS!
George Bush
Linda Tripp says had he an affair with a woman named "Jennifer"
Newt Gingrich
Dumped his ex-wife while she was in a hospital bed suffering from cancer....
Bob Dole
Cheated on his first wife with his current wife, Elizabeth Dole.
Former Rep. Bob Dornan
Reported to have cheated on and beaten his wife.
John Linder
Has a wandering eye for his female staff members.
Ronald Reagan
Dumped Jane Wyman by cheating on her with several Hollywood starlets
William Cohen
Dumped his white wife for a new black one.
Guy Millner
Has been married three times, partly because he has sex with women he isn't married to....
Rush Limbaugh
Fat as he may be, he cheated on two of his three wives...
Mitch Skandalakis
Hired hookers from his Las Vegas hotel room!
Michael Deaver
Was so drunk he doesn't remember hiring hookers...
John Warner
Dumped his wife for Elizabeth Taylor...
Bill Randall
A Florida Congressional candidate and minister, he fathered an illegitimate child during his affair!
Bill McCartney
Promise Keepers founder who didn't keep his Promise to his wife and then lied about it for 20 years!
Rep. Dan Burton
Had at least six adulterous affairs, and fathered a bastard son who, today, he ignores!!
Rep. Bob Barr
Cheated on all three of his wives - and coerced one into having an abortion - then lied about it!
Rudolph Giuliani
Boffs his assistant in Gracie Mansion while his wife stays home with the kids!
Sen. Strom Thurmond
Cheated on his fourth wife at age 88!!
Gilbert Davis
Paula Jones' attorney, who allowed himself to be videotaped DrUnK during his adultery!
Bob Packwood
Drank huge amounts of hard liquor and then tongue-kissed his female staffers against their will!
Gov. Kirk Fordice
Got so hopped up by his mistress that he crashed his Jeep Cherokee and got himself hurt!
Beverly Russell
The Christian Coalition coordinator who molested his stepdaughter Susan Smith, who later killed her own kids.
Marv Albert
Calls himself a Republican, bites his longtime mistresses, and has sex with her while wearing women's panties!

Other Horny Republicans:

N.C. Rep. Sue Myrick - Who cheated on her husband and left him for another man!

LA. Rep. Bob Livingston - The GOP Speaker-to-never-be, who cheated on his wife Bonnie - with at least four women!

Michael Huffington - The Former GOP Congressman who cheated on his wife Arianna - with other men!

Oklahoma Lt. Gov. Mary Fallin - Who had an adulterous affair with her Security Guard - a state trooper!

Rep. Helen Chenoweth - Who screwed most every married male member of the Idaho Legislature!

The Charleston County, S.C. Solicitor, a Republican, who had an extramarital affair - a GAY affair with another man.....

Jim Bakker - Who eventually got locked up in chains and sent to federal prison.

Jimmy Swaggart - Who broke down crying after he got busted with an ugly hooker!
