Technically, going to some particular Mosque, saying (in Arabic), "There is no God but God, and Allah is his name" (with feeling), and signing a book makes you as valid a Muslim as the next Imam.

Go no problem with W, Howard, and the other Western 'Leadership' doing so; if only to fark with this asshat's head.

/ Not to mention getting to claim some legitimacy (in Muslim terms) in criticizing the Islamofascists.

st_gulik is entirely correct. It's part of the rules of war according to the Koran. First you offer your enemy the chance to convert. If they don't, that's your signal that it's okay to let loose with everything you've got.

Don't forget that Ahmadinejad made the same offer to Bush a couple of days ago.

I think st_gulik might just be on to something there.

Check out the book The End of Faith for a better broadside against Islam than I can provide.

This is a religion which the people who were blown up by suicide bombers are told to convert to Islam for "peace", yet in the same breath he tells more Muslims to blow themselves up because they are holy warriors.

As long as its practitioners engage in this retardedly 12th century view of the world and its inhabitants, they give themselves the worst name. Its not the cartoon Mohammed with the bomb that makes your religion get its well-deserved violent reputation - its your willingness to kill others because of what you believe and they do not.

The only war against Islam is the one that it is creating for itself.

If you change your religion from Islam, you are supposed to be put to death. Even if you were Muslim for only an hour, and then re-converted back to your old religion, the Koran states that you are to be put to death.

And don't call them "islamofascists". Its a stupid term. They are religious fundamentalists.

There are 300 million people in this country. What would it take to force us all to convert to Islam or die? An invasion, obviously. No problem. All they need is:
-At least a 500 million-strong army of militarily-fit personnel
-A countermeasure to the only superpower's global air superiority
-A way to get across our moat (you might know it better as "the Atlantic and Pacific oceans")
-...without getting blow'd up by our navies
Assuming they somehow manage to land their army on our shore, it would need to defeat a technologically advanced military and ~200 million pissed-off defenders. AKs aren't going to cut it when every seventh Bubba or Becky-Sue has a tank.

Call me in 100 years and MAYBE they'll be able to pull it off by then.

Disregarding the fact that this guy is a religous nut I dont see why this would be such a bad idea. I do remember some of you Farkers saying that those Hitler quotes where stil valid even though he was an evil man. Now I know they would never convert but I bet if people, including Bush, learned allot more about other peoples religions that there would be less hatred towards each group. It also gives you a better understanding of where they are coming from. Having Bush learn allot about Islam and learn to take it as seriously as Christianity would be a great boon to the gov't.

/wants world religous studies and moral ethics to be required to be taught to all students as early as possible.
Maybe you'd be a different religion if it was.
