this was on TF last week, the submitter took a lot of crap from people who DRFA.

that chernobyl motorcycle ride site is spoooooky. it doesnt speak to me about the dangers of nuclear power as much as it does the problems with the soviet union at the time...

Sigh. Speaking as a fairly liberal-minded American who usually votes Democratic and severely dislikes the Bush Administration...can Greenpeace and PETA just go away? Please?

Seriously, you guys are nuts, and you're not helping anybody, much less saving the world.

Greenpeace and PETA are to the left, what Pat Robertson, Jack Chick, the Parents Television Council, etc. are to the right.

Uh--that's the point, isn't it? The flyer is set up to encourage action on a fill-in-the-blank issue by invoking Chernobyl--no matter whether it's relevant at all.

Chernobyl = Hitler when it comes to Godwinning threads on ecological issues: Any reasonable discussion of nuclear power is ruined by throwing in Chernobyl.
