2006-06-01 09:11:48 PM
Are Farkers with numerous felony assualt and murder charges allowed to attend?

Just asking for farker friend of mine.
2006-06-01 09:12:27 PM
Hondaman4ever: BTW where are the Los Angeles farkers?

Farkers? Screw that shiat. Where are the Farkettes?? :)
2006-06-01 09:13:31 PM
I went to New Orleans in 2002 for the Fark party. It was pretty cool.
2006-06-01 09:21:11 PM
Meh, late as well (day just started here)...

hmmm...im in brickell (in miami) and have a free floor in my building that could hold a lot of people (plus a free pool etc)....anyone think a miami/south beach/gables fark party would be a good idea?
2006-06-01 09:25:01 PM
SoFla Fark party sounds good (Miami or Fort Liquordale).
2006-06-01 09:25:08 PM
mrhaider: The meat in smoked meat sandwiches is generally beef.

That's good to know. It seems like every second shop there has smoked meat sandwiches. Curiosity got the better of me and I actually tried one. Tasted like pastrami.

Mchomard isnt out this year so I have no idea what your talking about. Which Mcdonalds did you see it at?

I don't remember exactly where it was. I just took notice because I've long been an advocate for McLobster sandwiches. Who knew they actually existed -- and were for sale in Montreal?
2006-06-01 09:26:03 PM
There seems to be interest in an Indianapolis party (at least 3 posts about it already.)

The questions become "where?" and "when?"

I'm thinking we could take over the bars of the following places. Not really reserve rooms, but just casually invade:

Bourbon Street Bar (it's on Indiana)
Loughmiller's (across from the statehouse)
I know what's good for me 6/22-6/25-ish?

2006-06-01 09:32:19 PM
I know a hot farker from Brandon that would attend...
2006-06-01 09:33:45 PM
WOW, scanned list and maybe 5-6 Canadians!? Not a very good showing here people. Hockey must be on or something.

/Kingston lad here
2006-06-01 09:36:15 PM
Hey Bonehead, I'm a Kitchener/Waterloo Farker, but I'm new to the area, don't really know anyone in the area, and I somehow don't think you and me could constitue a party.

Additionally, I have no idea what 'Huether' is.
2006-06-01 09:38:45 PM
Any Waterloo, Ontario Farkers out there?

Gotta be at least a couple.
2006-06-01 09:41:10 PM

Count me in on a Little Rock party.
2006-06-01 09:45:22 PM

Count me as a Columbus, Ohio farker, Chickan.

By my count, there are 7 of us in the thread now, along with a couple others from Dayton and nearby areas.I've been trying to compile a list of Central Ohio Farkers and their email addresses, and will volunteer to be that guy if everybody emails me (in profile).

Anyone interested in a Columbus, OH Fark Party email me.

/man of action
//today, at least
2006-06-01 09:48:41 PM
just the thread i've been waiting for.

anybody in the san francisco bay area (san jose/santa clara area, closest) up for a fark party?

email me (profile + artistlaunch link to my band, which would be playing at the party)) & if enough interest, i can hold one - or a monthly one - at one of my upcoming blues jams at JJ's blues lounge ... i won't schedule it unless we get some interest.
2006-06-01 09:50:35 PM
silverblues, TurtleGirl

I hear you, yo. Lil' Rock.
2006-06-01 09:53:06 PM
If Dayton is a spot for SW Ohioans, let me suggest Fox and Hound. You got good draught and excellent pool tables, and no loud garage band that makes sociallizing impossible. Just a suggestion.
2006-06-01 09:53:58 PM

Looks like we posted simultaneously. Tres funny.

I was thinking of the Huether as well as a good place to get a brewski. With you and Bonehead that'd be at least three's a crowd...any more K-W Farkers hiding out there?
2006-06-01 10:15:39 PM
Kasper Yea, just try to make it under21 friendly, please!

That goes for any MI/(Metro) Detroit/or Northern ohio.

2006-06-01 10:17:26 PM

Otherwise i would be equally up for helping and coming to a fark party during the year on OAHU
2006-06-01 10:18:40 PM
Detroit - We should have it at Tu-Can Tango in West Bloomfield. It is owned by a farker.
2006-06-01 10:19:18 PM

I second Fox and Hound...good place good beers
2006-06-01 10:21:44 PM
Anyone be interested in a Columbia, MO Fark party?
2006-06-01 10:22:05 PM

2006-06-01 10:26:19 PM
Anyone interested in a Sydney, Australia party???
2006-06-01 10:27:23 PM
The next montreal fark party should take place somewhere anglo, since it was at st-sulpice last time. I think The Cock 'n Bull near Atwater would provide the appropriate atmosphere for most farkers.
2006-06-01 10:30:56 PM
Anyone want to come to cumberland md?

No, I didn't think so.

Neil Young wrote a song about Cumberland: "Everbody Knows This is Nowhere".
2006-06-01 10:39:45 PM
Late to the thread - Brevard county or Orlando Florida farkers??? I am in Titusville!!!
2006-06-01 10:49:06 PM

2006-06-01 10:52:33 PM
Xlr8urfark: We must decend on Little Rock. Flying Saucer anyone?

I prefer Sticky Fingers, myself.

Or, if you're feeling really feisty, Midtown.
2006-06-01 10:54:09 PM
Otherwise, I'm down with whatever bar at the Fort you guys want to hit up...got lots of non-farking friends that love to drink and have a lot of fun

2006-06-01 10:58:41 PM
I am the world renowned farker eabod, having just traveled over 5,000 miles in a matter of two weeks to arrive in Portland, Oregon and I would very much be interested in the gathering of which you speak.

I'm hailing from Franklin, TN (about 40 minutes south of Nashville), and I could definitely go for a Nashville fark party.
2006-06-01 11:06:44 PM
Curse you polyhazard, first you dont come and drink beer with me and now you beat me in knowledge of how passive seattlites are. Once again I fail to be original.
2006-06-01 11:16:53 PM

You talking about the Lucky Lab Public House on 7675 SW Capitol Hwy?
2006-06-01 11:19:25 PM

You willing to come to Kansas for one? If so, email me.

I was aiming more towards Nebraska's take on an Omaha, but thanks for the offer.

cyberlost: I am throwing down the gauntlet. I will organize and throw a Tucson Fark Party if the requirements below are met. Why am I laying out requirements you ask? Frankly, I am doing it because I have yet to see a single intelligent Tucson Farker, not to mention the fact that Tucson is notoriously lazy laid back, and none of these requirements will probably be met.

darwin_fish: Phoenix Pharkers unite!!!!

If the George and Dragon II is anything like the Monastery, I say we should hold it at a BAR.

I went to the last PHX Fark Party at the Monastery, and there was some nutty dog show going on, and screaming kids playing volleyball. Any Fark party needs to be in a BAR, not a half-assed grill-it-yourself "restaurant," with a half-assed beer-and-wine-only license, with kids and suburbanite parents running about.

I love kids. I teach them. I don't want to see, or hear them screaming on my free time, especially when I'm drinking. Hire a sitter and come out to a PHX Fark party at a bar.

I'm just sayin'.
2006-06-01 11:44:29 PM
Fredonia, NY anyone?
