I watched him on the....err, I mean, my wife was telling me she watched him on the American Idol finale--he sounded like shiat. According to her, of course, since I don't watch that tripe.

The BooH albums are the only ones he's done that didn't entirely suck. He can thank Steinman for that.

Bat 2 was mostly cover versions of old Steinman songs that other people had done (Pandora's Box etc). I don't hold out too much hope for a new album.

That said, Bat Out of Hell is still an incredible record, and Meat's a great performer. I saw him live a couple of years ago and had a great time.

So terrible in fact you went right passed feeling sorry for him, since he was running around the stage as if he was good - which he wasn't.

Give the man props, he was Eddie in "Rocky Horror", and he was the roadie in , um, "Roadie".

I think Steinman's a hack, and yet, I like a lot of his stuff, ...belive it or not...

Oh, by the way, he has horrible television stage fright. Or did we all miss the link on the front page a couple of days ago about him not remembering the performance on American Idol. Geez.

And Bat III won't be worth a damn with out Stienman, hack or not.
