Important: You must be the original photographer of your entry. Do not submit anyone else's photography as your own.

You are only allowed to enter a photograph once. Do not submit the same photo to another contest later. Up to 3 photos can be entered into each contest, as long as each photo is of a different subject/composition. No multiple photos of your subject at different angles or composition. Please post each photo separately so they can be voted for individually.

Ideally, your photograph should be presented as taken, with as little alteration in Photoshop or other image editing programs as possible. Please refer to submission rules.

Legal: All photographers submitting photos to this contest are the legal copyright holders for the photos submitted and the photos are not to be considered free for any other use without written consent from the submitting photographers.

*Please, keep your entries under 50kb*

To ensure that each photograph looks as good as it should, please adjust your contrast and brightness so that each of the following shades of gray are distinct from one another and that the transition from black to white is evenly paced. If you can't do so, you may lose some shadow and highlight detail.

Aw, heck, Vercua -- I just noticed your request. Well, if mods want to, they can have at it, though it's probably too late. Sorry about that -- when I went away I assumed that that sort of thing got sorted automatically by the mods before it went green. My bad. :)

Okay, for those of you who were asking for a higher res shot of the cranes, here ya go (pops). I'll leave it up for a bit and then take it down. Can't give out full res, as I do sell this stuff, and I don't want anyone making 11x14 of these and selling it as their own.

Please don't steal this image (i.e., try to sell it or something), or I'll have to hunt you down and beat you. ;) Glad you all liked it!

Bravo!

The eggshell-colored thing is a mockup of a Gemini or Apollo command module and the eclipse is part of the wall in the background. I'm glad you enjoyed it though.. I really like it too. cras Angkor Wat is one of the many places i'd love to visit in southeast asia. hope to live and work there one day.

It was a wonderful trip. I had the three day pass for the temple complex, but wish I had a week. I felt like I squeezed everything in, but would have liked to have more time to really appreciate things. To save money, I also came in overland from Thailand. I would suggest not doing that as the roads are terrible. Are you in China?

audacity242, and the rest of you Farktographers:
Pictures like this really depress me. I'm sitting in front of a computer monitor all day, everyday, when I should be getting my arse up and seeing this stuff. I judge how much I like a picture by how much it depresses me. Great work, all of you (even those who take pictures of their cats)
