You're on dialup, right? That's actually somewhat of an advantage, because you're going direct to your ISP with no latency.

Exactly what I was going to say. What kind of retard thought up the idea of putting the month before the day?

2006-04-04 4:27:17 AM
Odds are I'll completely forget, but you never know.

2006-04-04 4:27:24 AM
you really should count 4 May 2006 instead of 5 April 2006, to be consistent with the date order from smallest to biggest units like the rest of the civilized world does. and if you want to be really consistent, you would have to order the time of day from small to biggesr units too, so the "real" moment would occur at 1 second past the 2nd minute of the 3rd hour of the 4th day of the 5th month of the 6th year or 3:02:01 AM, May 4th, 2006 .... but then again the years aren't "reset" after reaching a certain count, as do the other units of time measurement, so "06" is merely an abbreviation.

anyway, measurements of time are pretty much arbitrary and aren't all based on the same points of reference; i.e., some are based on the planet's rotation and divisions/multiples thereof, while some are based on the planet's solar revolution and divisions/multiples thereof, and some are sort of inbetween (the whole leap year dilemma)... not to mention that the calendar is merely the one decreed by the Catholic Pope Gregory XIII in 1582 one, and that there are many other calendars one could go by.

Cerebral Ballsy: Mitch119 The retard who says "June 14th 1998".

Yeah, but then again some people say "The 14th of June, 1998". When written in numerical form the units should always go from smallest to largest. The mm/dd/yyyy way is an American invention and is only used inside the States (and in some parts of Canada, but that's only due to America's influence).
