I have something in common with a television executive!

2006-03-23 4:38:13 PM
Bush makes me puke, so what? People have been able to differentiate between personal and professional feelings for quite awhile now.

/amazed that an entire story is coming from one sentence
//dig Drudge, dig!

2006-03-23 4:42:02 PM
He prefers the shaved look, I imagine

2006-03-23 4:43:49 PM
Maybe Bush makes him "fairly" sick to his stomach.

submitter: Bush makes ABC exec "want to puke,"

Anyone with any respect for the truth whatsoever wants to puke when they have to listen to Bush.

Seems fair to me.

2006-03-23 4:51:32 PM
zOMG!! People have opinions!!

2006-03-23 4:55:00 PM
What...the man is not a fan of the bush. It's a personal thing, I guess. Maybe he thinks it smells funny, I don't know. I don't see why his sexual preferences are such a big deal.

2006-03-23 5:01:25 PM
Droz?

2006-03-23 5:06:10 PM
Nice of the pussy who was the recipient to have his name inked out.

Guess which one collaborator in this scenario could be losing his job?

Yeah, because we all know being disgusted by someone and treating them fairly are mutually exclusive.

/Drudge == partisan idiot

Lord of Allusions: Droz?

Drooze?

As in those Coptic Christians living in Northern Iraq?

Jebus, Drudge seems even more desperate than usual to make waves.

Actually why is 90% of drudges article just repeating the email. That's just lazy, especially since the email is 1 1/2 years old.

LyleDAL: Anyone with any respect for the truth whatsoever wants to puke when they have to listen to Bush. I personally don't like Bush because he's intolerant of others' opinions, and anyone who disagree with me is a slack-jawed, inbred, drooling, mouth-breathing red state moron

Fixed that for ya.

2006-03-23 7:02:39 PM
The CraneMeister: Fixed that for ya.

Not so.

I personally don't like Bush because he's a liar.

I voted for him in 2000. I was an even more gungho supporter of Bush after 9/11.

I even supported the invasion of Iraq.... until the web of lies this administration weaved began to totally disolve.

Since then, my opinion of the guy has changed.

So.. STFU, CraneMeister because you don't know what you are talking about.

I don't think there's been a President in my lifetime that hasn't made me want to retch every once in a while.

Usually it was the nervous butterflies in my stomach before I got to meet than and shake their hands.

(ahem)

...meet them and shake their hands.

Brinkley was talking about Bill Clinton in the quote that Anson posted.

Carry on, men.

It's only the Anti-Bush people that makes me want to puke. Flame on, cark sarkers, but we have a president that does whats right, regardless of media polls.

2006-03-23 8:02:49 PM
Bush makes any intelligent person want to puke.
What is the story?

2006-03-23 8:05:46 PM
Haha, he produces Good Morning America. Who cares.

Beat me to it, No Such Agency. Bush makes anybody with more than three brain cells want to puke. And, to the Clinton haters, whatever happened to a President lying being the crime of the century?

I mean, cause (ahemn) when it comes to lying, Bush makes Clinton look like George Washington.

Hell, he makes Millard Fillmore look like George Washington just generally...

2006-03-23 9:37:51 PM
I think that photo of the email should be a photoshop contest.

2006-03-23 9:40:38 PM
Can you blame him - afterall just look at the ride Bush is putting us all through.

I see farks biggest political party the Hypocrats are out...

2006-03-23 10:23:24 PM
say I worked for ESPN sportscenter, and I had to produce a recap of an NBA game between the knicks and the bobcats - two horrible teams which frustrated me so much I sent an email to a colleague saying "I hate the knicks, they make me want to puke!" does that automatically mean I grew up a heat fan and I've hated the knicks my whole life and will therefore do everything I can to give them the shaft in my piece?

or could it simply mean that I hate watching such a bad team play and then having to cut a stupid 30-second recap of a boring-ass game - which I will nevertheless cut even-handedly and to the best of my ability because it's my job?

could it be even remotely possible that this guy's email isn't the smoking gun in the case against the "LIEberal" media?

2006-03-23 10:32:00 PM
Wow - how convenient. This email gets leaked almost within hours of Bush and his "it's the media that makes Iraq sound worse than it is" blitz.

2006-03-23 10:40:14 PM
Bush makes most rational, thinking individuals sick... mainly because of his irrationality and refusal to think.

/thinks president is a farktard
//the administration is full of at best liars...
///and at worst criminals

MunchCunch: Flame on, cark sarkers, but we have a president that does whats right, regardless of media polls.

You think that most (well, maybe all) politicians do anything that's right for the people? Maybe right for themeselves and their buddies.

Heh, the "gee, my guy is in office, everything is going to be all right!" feeling is finally wearing down on Bush/Bush Admin fans. Unfortunately, it will all start over with the next president.

LOL indeed.

2006-03-23 10:51:28 PM
Yeah, but remember, there's no liberal media bias guys. None at all.

2006-03-23 10:57:57 PM
Of course there is no bias. Just because 5 of them can all say that Pres. Bush is a and I quote "towel snapping frat boy" one day after a press conference means absolutely nothing. Nope, they're not all in cahoots with each other. Nope. That could never happen. Not unless they were alone or with someone. ANd as Pres. Clinton taught us, we're never truely alone.

2006-03-23 11:05:47 PM
Are any of Drudge's reports ever "Developed", rather than "Developing"?

2006-03-23 11:21:22 PM
Once again, another example of irresponsible "journalism."

If this little stunt hasn't earned this "producer" the midnight phone call he deserves, I don't know what will.

The press is out of control, and this administration needs to act.

2006-03-23 11:38:00 PM
Off topic- but why do 'libtards' have a sense of humor, when 'neocons'-ummm-not so much?

2006-03-23 11:46:05 PM
skookum: Once again, another example of irresponsible "journalism."

I assume you are talking about the Drudge piece--since writing an e-mail to a colleague is not 'journalism'.

If this little stunt hasn't earned this "producer" the midnight phone call he deserves, I don't know what will.

That's right--Intimidation is the American way!

The press is out of control, and this administration needs to act.

Why not a new amendment?:

AMENDMENT XXVIII

No media executive shall take office, until and unless they swear undying fealty to any sitting Republican office holder, and eternal enmity to any member of the Democratic party or other critic of any sitting Republican office holder upon penalty of immediate loss of position and a jail term of not less than 9 months. Any such person claiming nausea at the sight of a Republican shall be immediately executed.,

And then all we need to do is to tack on another rescinding the 22nd amendment and disbanding congress and we're good.

2006-03-23 11:51:20 PM
Skleenar: I assume you are talking about the Drudge piece--since writing an e-mail to a colleague is not 'journalism'.

No, I'm talking about the calibre of producer ABC has. Are they going to report the news, or is this going to be a big lib-fest?

Perhaps threatening censorship is an overreaction, but the media needs to get more centrist and stop being at odds with the President. Or face possible consequences.

skookum: The press is out of control, and this administration needs to act.

Wow. I can't tell if that's serious or not, with the way things are these days.

Yup, based on past comments, a troll.

Thanks for the laugh!

2006-03-24 12:15:42 AM
Actually, I've very much an advocate of education camps for journalists. Six weeks in the desert where they learn the proper guidelines for newswriting in a wartime setting, if that's what it takes.
