An idiot praise with self-serving motivations doesn't negate the validity of the papers content.

Maybe not, but it does give you pause - If the racists are cheering you on, maybe it's time to rethink your viewpoint.

I didn't realize this prick was still around. What's he doing these days? Does Duke still run that idiotic NAAWP organization?

Reading this now...extremely enlightening. A lot of it I knew, a lot I suspected, but a lot is also news to me.

This should be mandatory reading for anyone who participates in the Israel/Palestine debate.

And Weaver95...you especially, read this thing. It's an academic paper published by two of the most well-respected experts on geopolitics around. Bringing up David Duke is like saying Darwin was wrong because Hitler incorporated it into his philosophy.

One interesting factoid I learned, since nobody seems to be posting here anyway: AIPAC is second only to the AARP in Washington lobbying power. Not even the NRA beats 'em.

Has anyone else noticed that all the editorials critical of this study (of which there seem to be far more than articles mentioning it objectively) all seem to mention David Duke as much as they do the papers' actual authors?

Now, I wonder, why is that?

what gets me is the lack of response in this thread.

Israeli threads get so much traffic on here.
I dont get it.

Actually, ive noticed a number of attacks on the article outside of Duke associations. The problem is that each critique Ive read, is pretty weak. I guess it should take a few weeks for the more thoughtful critiques to surface.

Ive stopped checking until then.

I dont know. Recently hes been on here for long stretches. If I were him, Id want to take a break too. On one thread he was talking about being awake for 36 hours and arguing on Fark for 11 of them.

He just might be taking a break from all his time here. I cant say I blame the guy.
