I would love to drive the lego car. Although replacing thousands of pieces after a fender bender would probably be a biatch.

2006-03-04 8:58:47 PM
That's somewhere between awesome and scary.

2006-03-04 8:59:41 PM
If the Lego real doll isn't on it then the list is totally bogus

Didn't some guys build LEGO machine that could beat Super Mario Bros?

2006-03-04 9:07:33 PM
That is too cool. For some reason the difference engine really strikes my fancy!

El Morro: probably be a biatch.

But cheap.

2006-03-04 11:21:01 PM
I once fantasized of making a dj mixer from legos...

2006-03-04 11:21:35 PM
The USB Lego Thumb stick got an honorable mention?

I could shove a thumb drive in a Lego brick with no talent at all.

How long before we have a full sized lego house, with all the working parts?

still cheaper than a body shop.

I think the real downside of a LEGO car is that LEGO bricks are not watertight joints.

How could they possibly forget the Lego Rubik's Cube Solver?

2006-03-04 11:30:33 PM
is it just me or do the pics of the lego volvo look totally fake?

There is a fine line between genious and insanity... sometimes you find you'll cross the line several times in your life.

#9 Lego Han pwns. It should be higher.

What about the Ron Jeremy life size Lego likeness?

2006-03-04 11:37:46 PM
What about a lego dildo, ribbed, for her pleasure?

What about a lego dildo, ribbed, for her pleasure?

With pleasure-enhancing studs!

2006-03-04 11:43:19 PM
those "pleasure enhancing" studs are more like "oww! stop!" studs

I take it the LEGO web server is one of them

2006-03-04 11:52:02 PM
None of those things are very strange, even made out of Lego.

2006-03-04 11:54:53 PM
I think this should have made it

Lego Mosaic of Gollum

2006-03-04 11:55:22 PM
The difference engine thinger blew my mind more than a little. But I LOVE the Lego Escher.

Funniest Lego is either The Brick Testament or Brokeback Mountain (in Lego.) I only wish they had done more Brokeback Mountain lego scenes... my favourite is "It's Nobody's Business But Ours."

/too lazy to link

Apparently, html went wrong.

2006-03-04 11:56:14 PM
Really, is there such a thing as a non-strange Lego creation? Lego itself is pretty weird. For one thing, it has no plural. What's with that? It's like sheep and sheep.

2006-03-04 11:59:53 PM
I agree- the Rubik's Cube solver should be on that list, as should the Brick Testament

I originally read that as '...a piece of my kis leg to hold....'

I about spit milk.

I stand erected...er..uh...corrected.

Seconding (thirding?) the Brick Testament as a truly great Lego creation! (link pops)

2006-03-05 12:06:39 AM
no lego porn?

2006-03-05 12:11:30 AM
El Morro: Although replacing thousands of pieces after a fender bender would probably be a biatch.

Assuming your Lego car is able to SURVIVE said fender bender. It problably doesn`t have the best collision rating.

\exuse the ` in leau of an apostraphie, Firefox is farking up on me again and opening the search function whenever I hit either slash or apostraphie...

The Lego crazy stairs is amazing!

2006-03-05 12:18:35 AM
How big of a geek does it make me if I admit that I think the Han Solo in carbonite Lego thing is the coolest thing I've ever seen?

2006-03-05 1:16:45 AM
Lego Porn

Most of the list doesn't hold a candle to this guy's <a href="http://www.texbrick.com/creations">lattice cranes</a> and other projects.

2006-03-05 1:33:06 AM
What about the Lego bong? Comes with its own bricks?

2006-03-05 2:03:55 AM
For years I've been wanting to build a Lego wave- a pitching, breaking ocean wave modelled on Pipeline...

anyone know any free lego blueprint proggies?

2006-03-05 2:04:26 AM
Perhaps not as complex as some of those shown in the link, but BlockDeath always gets me laughing...

2006-03-05 2:26:56 AM
"Boogaarts"

that cracked me up.

Definitely liked the Lego creations though, and Han absolutely should have been higher on the list.

2006-03-05 2:35:44 AM
Heh, maybe I should've submitted pictures of the 5 1/2 foot long lego spaceship I built years ago. It could break apart into several different segments and had all kinds of cool functionality. I gotta break the legos out again one of these days, but I just don't have the space with all the computer shiat laying around. :(
