I noticed this driving to work on Highway 40. Clever, but very obviously staged; didn't fool me for a second.

Living in Tucson, being a Cards fan, I feel a vicarious sense of...whatever.

I'm more interested in who we'll have playing up the middle this year than in some dumb billboard stunt.

poepsel-looks like Junior Spivey is the front runner at 2nd and Eckstein is back at short. The good battle will be for left field.

GO CARDS!

Reminds me of the time the local morning DJ's put up a billboard saying "More Power Than God" when their station upped the wattage. People were pissed, so they employed a man with a flamethrower to go up to the billboards and make it look like htey had been burnt by the hand of God, supposedly. OF course they played the whole "God was angry with us" card, but when the pics were in the papers of the flamethrower guy, it's kinda obvious....

What???? They have won more World Seres than anybody but the Yankees. But hey, whatever.

Good to know they are wasting money on this publicity instead of signing good guys, especially since you can't get tickets...

Idiots in charge.

I was just in St. Louis over the weekend for a month. Beale's on Broadway and the City Museum were fun, but overall the joint was deadsville, man.

Nothing near the convention hall but a dead mall. I have nothing to add, really.

Welcome to downtown STL. Unless there's a convention/football game/baseball game going on, there's not much there. They keep saying that X is going to revitalize the downtown, and it keeps on not happening. But once the new ballpark and ballpark village is done, that should do what nothing else has yet done.

Or not. Again.

Well, it's better than being the Chicago Cubs of baseball.

Here's to hoping St. Louis and the Astros repeat in the NLCS. That is the new hotness rivalry brewing in the NL (where they still play real baseball).

Soon to be a former mall filled with $900,000.00 condos.

As for anyone bashing the publicity angle, it got two greenlights on Fark's main page, so they must be doing something well. Plus, they're on every TV station in town. I say, "Good job."

It's the same people that did the Blues' Bleed Blue campaign. Seems like they know what gets sports fans' attention in St. Louis and on-line.

Hope there's more, actually.

I don't know what' worse, Is it the girl who everybody loves and is on TV all the time, but you know it's never gonna happen(the Cubs),or is it the girl you have long history of getting lucky, I know not for a while, but she is willing to flash ya once every couple years, I know who I'm who hanging out with.
