If they spike baseball news you can bet your butt they won't be reviewing the movie "Pearl Harbor"

Not only is Pearl Harbor coming out in Japan, it's supposed to be a huge summer blockbuster, bigger even that it's expected to be in the US.
Also, it's only NTV (one network) omitting coverage because it cuts into interest of their Yorimuri Giants. The closest thing I could liken it to is if ESPN ignored the XFL because covering it helps NBC, or CNNSI only talked about the Atlanta Braves.

Sounds similar to how TBS/TNT whatever only shows Braves games because of their ownership.

whether there is US baseball on or not, noone wants to watch japanese baseball. they're just losing viewers in general by making this move.
