lostgod - holgaroid

please enlighten me - i like holga, i like polaroid...i sense a lovely merging of the two!!!

1/3 - Not 'shopped:

[image from static.flickr.com too old to be available]

The PowerShot is on a minipod on my desk pointing at me. It's focused on the reflection of itself on a polarizer attached to a 135mm lens that's balanced on a cup at the same height (for hands-free shooting). That's my eye peering through the mounting end of the lens. Finally, it's all lined up so the light passing through the 135mm lens (ie. the image of my eye) aligns with the reflection of the PowerShot's lens.

KnuckinFutz: monkeybort- Ever shoot in Island Park, ID? Its right up the road from Ashton. I passed that same silo several times last summer when I lived in Island Park. Nice twerk.

i've actually never shot in island park, but i've driven through it a LOT. i've spent a lot of time since 2001 driving between jackson wy and bozeman mt, so that whole road is like a second home. i've shot a lot in ashton and tetonia, also some in driggs ID. island park just angers me with all that speed limit nonsense. i did get stuck spending a night in a gas station in IP when they closed the highway due to a blizzard. good times.
