\What's that # for suicide prevention?
2005-09-27 08:54:12 AM
"This is a difficult and unfortunate situation"

for who?
2005-09-27 08:54:36 AM
Wow. That headline is completly accurate.

/never heard of the show
//or the actors
2005-09-27 08:55:02 AM
Note to these two idiots:

Divorcing after five months of marriage doesn't cover up the fact that your show sucks eggrolls.
2005-09-27 08:55:06 AM
She plays feisty cheerleader _________ and he plays ___________, a brooding intellectual struggling to find peace.

How did I possibly miss this show?
2005-09-27 08:55:39 AM
And this gets greenlit?

Bribery works wonders, eh?
2005-09-27 08:56:37 AM
Headline is spot on.

No idea who these people are.

Check it again Einstein.

And people wonder why the Roman Empire fell.
2005-09-27 09:10:42 AM
I think One Tree Hill is after Gilmore Girls, although I've never seen an episode. Chad Michael Murray was Tristan on Gilmore Girls a few years back. I hated that kid. Why has Rory never been able to find a decent guy? I'll ask Smooky...
2005-09-27 09:13:06 AM
I read this and I thought to myself, well, doesn't this just accurately summarize exactly how far "entertainment news" has sunk. I myself have never heard of this show, the two principals or their marriage. And yet, here it is, CNN reporting. Thus, I give you ze headline.

2005-09-27 09:15:54 AM
Two thumbs up on the headline for accuracy. Nice job.
2005-09-27 09:18:11 AM
Norb: Check it again Einstein.

Looks prety green to me.

Thera: Why has Rory never been able to find a decent guy?

I know. I got so upset when he.....
/girl mode off

I just wonder, if two people in Hollywood who can have anything can't make it, what chance does my 13 year marriage have?
2005-09-27 09:47:03 AM
Chicks care about this because the guy is hot.
2005-09-27 09:52:21 AM
That guy is not hot rufie.
2005-09-27 10:21:38 AM
"This is a difficult and unfortunate situation," Bush said
*runs statement through the BStranslator 3400*
"I found out his winky is the size of my pinky," Bush said

Smookyfufu: That guy is not hot rufie.

Nah, he just cute in a Ooo Look, a 12 year old with scruff kinda way.
2005-09-27 10:56:39 AM
Is this show going to get its own video game, too?
2005-09-27 11:28:37 AM
This just goes to show that marriages between "a feisty cheerleader and a brooding intellectual struggling to find peace" will never work.
2005-09-27 11:53:51 AM
And now, a very special Turd Blossom...
2005-09-27 12:41:42 PM
Hey, wasn't he the guy... uhh... no wait... he was... hmmmm... damn...

Ok... she was the one... um... that was in... uhh... that one thing... umm... with whats-her-face... *sigh*

Yup, no clue who they are.
2005-09-27 12:48:38 PM
For the first time I can type this in a Fark forum, and it won't be a joke.

2005-09-27 12:48:43 PM
We care, because...?

Points for the accurate headline!
2005-09-27 12:48:56 PM
Yep, submitter was right.
2005-09-27 12:49:39 PM
Hey, buddy, on your next show, don't shiat where you eat.
2005-09-27 12:50:17 PM
That show's about as entertaining as the Holocaust.
2005-09-27 12:50:38 PM
What about the brooding cheerleader and the feisty intellectual?
2005-09-27 12:50:51 PM
I live near a place called One Tree Hill in South East London. I doubt it is the same one though.
2005-09-27 12:51:13 PM
24 year old is not hot. Give me a man. Now that's hot.

/hollywood should give up on the whole marriage thing.
2005-09-27 12:51:22 PM
I just hope they return the 42 toaster I sent them!

Hello Michael, this is Simon Lebon from 1985 and I'd like my leather tie back.
2005-09-27 12:52:38 PM
"I just wonder, if two people in Hollywood who can have anything can't make it, what chance does my 13 year marriage have?"

Everything except anything like a normal life and outlook on life.

Famous people are weird.
2005-09-27 12:53:01 PM
I can verify that this show is 100% crap. Maddeningly, I am addicted to it. I don't know why- I have never watched those soap-opera type dramas, and from what I understand most of them were better than this one.

Maybe it's the boobies (obviously).

So many of the characters' actions are ridiculous. Furthermore, 80% of the scenes are conversations between various characters who just show up unexpectedly at the other character's home/job, only to have a 30-second conversation and then leave.

Yet watch it I will, because I'm hooked.

2005-09-27 12:53:15 PM
Probably failed for the usual reason. She's a dirty dirty sex manic; completely insatiable and needs damp monkey love morning, noon and night.

And he's gay.

I'm just guessing.
2005-09-27 12:54:17 PM
I for one support a constitutional ammendment to protect the sanctity of marriage by defining marriage as being between two persons who are not (actors, musicians, directors, or in any other way associated with "Hollywood").
2005-09-27 12:56:05 PM
Maybe it's the boobies (obviously).

I don't understand, how does the comment at the beginning of this thread get you hooked on a show?
2005-09-27 12:56:14 PM
Why is CNN turning into Entertainment Tonight?
2005-09-27 12:56:31 PM
GO..FIGHT...WIN, or don't it's all so farkin pointless

/gimpel's brooding cheerleader
2005-09-27 12:56:43 PM
Who cares about their marriage? I need to know how they feel about Hurricane Rita, gas prices, and Iraq. NOW!
2005-09-27 12:57:20 PM
Man, that's sad. At least they hung in there and tried to make it work.

Who says the young folks don't have heart?
2005-09-27 12:58:45 PM

/no seriously
2005-09-27 12:59:12 PM
I've never seen the show and don't know the actors, but in my many months of following celebrity gossip (for the hell of it, I guess) I do remember when these two crazy kids got engaged. Both of their families and all of their friends tried talking them out of it. With reason, it appears.

/Them: five months of marriage is hard!
2005-09-27 01:00:26 PM
60%: "We don't want war!"

Media: "Look over here!"

All: "Ooooooh...."
2005-09-27 01:01:11 PM
rufie52: Chicks care about this because the guy is hot.

The "guy" looks like a girl on testosterone.
