Taken through a high-precision surveying 'scope, hence the poor quality.

"Police confirmed today that a small tuft of pink fur was found at the scene of the high profile DuraCell case. No word yet as to whether or not the Energizer Bunny will be called in for questioning."

The business end (center?) of an FEI dual beam scanning electron microscope and focused ion beam mill. Mmmmm, money.

/Too bad I don't have a real camera
//Taken with my LG VX7000. Yes, that's a phone. Yes, I know, I'm deeply ashamed.

grr I didn't enable voting. And here I thought I was immune to such errors.

For those who wish technology had more fur, vote for me. For those otherwise inclined, delete previous post.

We may enjoy the fruits of our technological power, but in the end, the softer, cuter elements of our lives are what really deserve the most affection.

Agreed, but after consideration I went with binary purely because it looked better as a tattoo.

Pentax MX with smcPentax 24mm/2.8 lens, I think the film was TMax 400. Click for full size version.

I like passing out too early to post at a decent time! I'm so late, Imageshack cut off half the entries.

With respect to ownership of images, could the people that wouldn't mind having their images used for other purposes (like photoshop contests) add a line to their posts saying as much?

Hi res images get harder and harder to find, and one group of Farkers would be helping out another group.

it's just an idea

the building im working in has a bay where humvees are modified with heavy electronics (radar, sniper detectors etc...). A picture of the inside before everything is complete would be really cool....unfortunatly they would arrest me if i whiped out a camera.

CrushedRedGuard: FRAGZAV, Thanks for the new wallpaper.

My pleasure :D

SpiffyandRedhot: Feel free to use mine in PS contests, although I doubt they'd make good PS material.

For the record, the boat is in Cabo Verde, on the Boa Vista island, not too far from Sal Rei (1 hour with a 4x4). There is another pic of it in my profile, although this one was shot by my wife (using the same camera: Canon S50).

Could we please create a new rule for these contests:
one entry per person?

There's only so much "look at me! I know how to use shallow DOF!" a man can take.

Individuals shouldn't post a bunch of pictures of the same (or very similar) subjects. It waters down the impact of your work.

Just pick one shot and really impress us!

While I really love your image, and I liked it enough to use it as one of the rotating photos on the Farktography site's banner, images can only be entered once into any contests as per Farktography Submission Rules. You had used this image for the Nuts & Bolts theme as well.

I would think if there were an image you were interested in using for a PS contest, just email the person and ask. Of course that is given they have their email addy in their profile.
