This is definitely a part of the building, but people do not work directly inside of it. If this is a problem, please feel free to remove voting.

So what happened to Galleywench, Mr.P, and Weaps this week?
It feels lonely and hollow without them.

rcf1105 i liked your boobies better. that was the one i voted for. the sky, snow on roof and snow at foreground being the same general tone brings out the building's facade which is interesting especially when there is the center element for accent. the second one (to me) is too busy.

/yes i typed "boobies" because; 1.it's funny, 2.i'm too lazy to try and defeat the filter.

Submission 1/1, because I'm not really an architecture photographer. This is of the Multimedia Classroom Building at Washington State University Vancouver. Other photos of mine can be seen at DeviantArt.

That be Chicago, or Gotham City as I call it. Photo was taken from the NBC Plaza on Michigan Ave towards East Wacker Drive.

I had to futz around with the white balance to get the sky to be that color. Chicago usualy has this orange glow to it (which I think looks fantastic), but I wanted a more gothic feel for this shot.

The California Dehydrating Company building awaits demolition as the Ziggurat building looks on in the distance.

Ever since I was a kid, I thought the California Dehydrating Company building was very cool. When I heard that it was finally going to be torn down after being vacant for quite some time, it inspired me to finally buy a real camera of my own, after not having used one since high school. I picked up a nice Pentax K1000 setup and used up the first roll of film on the building somewhere around Fall of 2003. Unfortunately, being the first pictures I'd taken in years, I wasn't especially happy with the results, and to add insult to injury, I got the roll developed at the supermarket instead of a place that knows what it's doing (or cares). That said, I was glad to get some pictures taken of the place before it was picked apart.

And that's the Story No One Cares About. :)
