2002-04-11 10:15:59 AM
That's 'one of the funniest web toons available'?

...and Jebus wept.
2002-04-11 10:16:04 AM
I would hate to see one of the not so funny web toons then.

It was so funny I forgot to laugh
2002-04-11 10:18:14 AM
Does "funny" have another meaning that I'm not aware of? Or is it like when your car doesn't start and you say, "gee, that's funny."
2002-04-11 10:18:28 AM
Only problem is... it wasn't funny :/
2002-04-11 10:18:39 AM
Whoever writes these headlines sounds like a desperate puppy happy for attention.

2002-04-11 10:19:06 AM
someone thinks it is funny because it says fart.. or fark... or something
2002-04-11 10:19:08 AM
I agree with everyone here. Not funny.
2002-04-11 10:19:33 AM
HAHAHAHAHA....he said fart!
2002-04-11 10:20:34 AM
Yes, it is in fact one of the 16,491 funniest web toons available
2002-04-11 10:22:53 AM
Number 16,591 out of what? 16,592 Total web toons?

I criticize because I cannot create.

I know I have submitted better links than that. I'll have to start looking for really lame ones to see if they get in.
2002-04-11 10:25:13 AM
I started reading through a lot of the previous ones and I think some of them are pretty damned amusing; but then I don't judge a webtoon on one panel alone. I loved the whole thing of death trying to tell his lame joke, that made me laugh. Nifty artwork too.

Thank you.

Btw I like mayonaise too.

A comedy treasure. Leno will start plagiarising the site for opening monologue laugh nuggets any second now.

Want comedy? Read Boondocks. It's funny because it SUCKS.

What Bigpeeler said.

"one of the funniest Web Toons available"

you know people can't help but be disappointed with a title like that?
2002-04-11 10:42:50 AM
This is like the time I got all excited because a character in a one-frame comic strip had the same last name as me. I was impressed for like .75 of a second.
2002-04-11 10:44:46 AM
I thought it was cute.

Lance Storm says that is SERIOUSLY not funny.
2002-04-11 10:53:11 AM
Everyone's entitled to their opinion, except you whiners who probably couldn't make a funny comic strip if it blew out of your ass, but I digress.

I think I actually like this strip. It's not downright kneeslapping funny, but from what I read, the storyline is rather unique, and the stories it tells are interesting.

Consider this comic strip bookmarked.
2002-04-11 11:01:57 AM
The worst wecomic available is here. He's been doing it for three years, and his mom colors it for him (I'm not kidding).
2002-04-11 11:02:51 AM
...and this just in: The Supreme Court has ruled that "ha-ha funny" and "ha-ha strange" are two separate legal entities.

Henchman: You're not wrong, that was really crap. How come you follow it so intently?
2002-04-11 11:13:57 AM
Some of it is amusing, though.

Superosity is a keenspot comic!?! Let's see, according to the stats he gets about 11000 a week and he publishes seven times a week.

I get between 5500 and 7000 readers a week (depending on the reliability of keenspace for any given week) with one comic published per week.

So his 11000 divided by seven means he's actually got a little over 1500 readers.

Hmmm... that would mean, technically, if I published daily instead of weekly I'd be good enough for Keenspot. How bizarre!

We should have a contest to find the absolute bottom of the barrel "worst" webcomic on the internet. But it should have to be one that is still publishing, not one where a guy published 5 strips then realized how much he sucked and stopped. I'm talking about a strip that sucks the suck that suck sucked but the author is completely oblivious to the suckness of their suck's sucking.

Keenspace will make a fertile hunting grounds but I'll bet there are plenty lurking on Geocities too.

On your mark.... get set... GO!
2002-04-11 11:24:56 AM
Ghastly: I hope they don't let you and the guy that makes Down to Earth travel in the same plane. It would be a shame to lose two preeminent web talents like yourselves.
2002-04-11 11:28:55 AM
Heheheheheeeee! No, internet's insurance company won't let us ride the same plane or be in the Whitehouse at the same time during a national crisis.
2002-04-11 11:30:53 AM
I guess "Drew Curtis' FARK.com" wouldn't fit in the bubble.
2002-04-11 11:31:25 AM
The cancer ward at the childrens' hospital is funnier than the two of you combined.
2002-04-11 11:32:17 AM
Only three hours on fark during the work day? the dude is slacking in his slacker skillz
2002-04-11 11:33:10 AM
Well duh! If you can't laugh at terminally ill children then who can you laugh at?
2002-04-11 11:34:10 AM
Seriously, Rtreynor....kids these days have no work ethic.

The worst comics on the Net are at Leon's Random Generators (http://www.leonatkinson.com/random/index.php?SCREEN=comic)
2002-04-11 11:36:53 AM
If by "funniest comic site on the net" you mean one of the worst comics ever, then yes.
2002-04-11 11:40:39 AM
Actually, sometimes those Leon's Random Generator comics are funnier than actual webcomics.

One of the funniest comics I ever saw was this "How to make comics the Keenspace way" comic. It was funny because it was true.
2002-04-11 11:41:22 AM
heres an actual funny one. http://downtoearth.ncbuy.com/archives/index.html?disp=1&dir=next&strip=132
