"Former Dr Who actor Colin Baker has been in touch with staff at the attraction, and may be asked to send a message to the kidnappers. "

Cool. Now this will inspire me to kidnap Hugh Hefner, and mail his arm to Pamela Anderson and Jenny McCarthy to get them to acknowledge my prescence, and lack of proper spelling skills.

AlienOmega: Please tell me I'm not the only one who laughed at that.

I thought it was quite histerical myself. I kept wondering if it was satire.

Daleks, The New Fark Cliche!

We all know what's going to happen. It'll end up at auction, be bought up by Henry Van Statten, and end up somewhere in Utah.
/Tom Baker was my favourite Doctor

Having never seen the other ones, I love Eccleston, and I'm sad tht he'll be leaving. I can only hope his replacement is as good.

Let me get this straight: you are telling me that Dr. Who's greatest enemies are robots with plungers as hands?

If I were a Dalek thief, I wouldn't give Colin Baker the time of day. It's like asking to meet Darren from Bewitched, and getting stuck with Dick Sargent.

/Tom Baker would rule
//Chris Eccleston trumps Baker

Billcosby- It was the cybermen that said resistance is useless/futile.

/Marrying a DrWho nerd, the pic offended him and he's making me correct it.

also...
"Colin Baker choked perry, that was good enough"

This is one reason I love English people so much.

I think all Six living Doctors(Tom Baker, Peter Davison,Colin Baker,Sylvester McCoy,Paul McGann and Christopher Eccleston) as well as Richard Hurndall(Who played the First Doctor in the Five Doctors as Hartnell was sadly dead) and the other Doctors from the curse of the Fatal Death(Rowan Atkinson, Richard E. Grant, Jim Broadbent, Hugh Grant and Joanna Lumley) need to put out a joint press statement about returning the Dalek.

Marketing campaign.

(is scared of daleks)

Why don't they just send K9 to sniff them out?

He could do it.

He could!

So who's this Billie Piper? Aside from gorgeous, that is? I'm guessing she's from the new show that hasn't made it to America yet.

2005-06-10 5:22:40 AM
thats rather funny, seeing as the gun is the destructive bit and the plunger is like a hand.

2005-06-10 6:35:26 AM
Alphax: So who's this Billie Piper? Aside from gorgeous, that is? I'm guessing she's from the new show that hasn't made it to America yet.

Alphax, yes, she plays Rose Tyler, who is The Doctor's assistant in the new series. And by new series I mean bestest production in 27 seasons. And by assistant I mean hottie. Billie is quite the actress, despite having started her career as a pop singer, and she's got this delicious flirtiness that happens in the quiet moments which.. um.. Well.. I get all tingly in my naughty bits. I think there's fansites devoted singularly to her tongue that've sprung up, too..

Best Rose line: 'Better with two.'

Billie's featured in the April, 2005, issue of Arena magazine. She's also done FHM and Maxim. A simple GIS will get you lots more than I would dare endanger servers with here.

There. I'm done.

I'm not.

Wookey Hole, Wookey Hole, Wookey Hole, Wookey Hole, Wookey Hole.

That one's going straight to my list of euphemisms.

2005-06-10 10:06:39 AM
1. The reason Colin Baker has been in contact, is because he is the special guest at "Dr Who Weekend" at wookey hole on 18th/19th june.
2. All signs point to this being a hoax, and for that me and the other dalek enthusiasts are thankful.
3. Does anyone have any ideas where I can store my dalek when I take it to wookey hole, as I don't want to store it at the site any more.
