2002-03-22 05:55:19 PM

2002-03-22 05:56:02 PM
Cremated remains of Falun Gong followers?
2002-03-22 05:56:24 PM
Old news. How about posting some of the shiat that farkers have submitted TODAY.
2002-03-22 05:56:42 PM
I wonder the rain will turn red with this dust in the atmosphere?

I'm pretty sure it has happened before.
2002-03-22 05:57:29 PM
Ok, that's it, the only response is to bomb the shiat out of theses sandstorm causing terrorists.
2002-03-22 06:00:15 PM
Same thing happens in Africa, big dust storms there get blown across the Atlantic and dump a bunch of shiat on the cars in Florida. I remember a few summers when I was a kid where the sky was almost red with the stuff. Very weird.
2002-03-22 06:00:56 PM
THATS why they can't drive !!! All that dust cloud crap over there. sheesh
2002-03-22 06:01:09 PM
My boss is in China right now and has severe asthma. She comes goes to one of the place in North America that will be hit by the storm about the same time it gets there. I pretty sure I will complaints about this for weeks to come.
2002-03-22 06:02:20 PM
Thanks China! Hopefully you can resolve your pollution problems soon before you destroy any more *gasp* trees in the US.
2002-03-22 06:02:53 PM
see how many chinese flees to the US under the cover of the dust storm.
2002-03-22 06:03:21 PM
Can't we keep anything out of this country???
2002-03-22 06:04:14 PM
I guess people on the West Coast will be eating dust for a while. Of course since it's from China, you'll be hungry again in a half-hour.
2002-03-22 06:04:56 PM
If you stop breathing does that mean the terrorists have already won?

Forward all your answers to my bomb shelter I will be living in for awhile. (Yep, I live in Seattle)
2002-03-22 06:07:28 PM
It's a Red Chinese plot, these duststorms, to destroy us all. Clever orientals! Who needs nukes when you have these kinds of weapons?
2002-03-22 06:08:17 PM
What if it's really Chinese Angel Dust?
2002-03-22 06:08:27 PM
Great sunsets, comin' right up.
2002-03-22 06:08:44 PM
this story reads like it was written for My Weekly Reader. Are Seattle-ites that stupid?
2002-03-22 06:09:40 PM

Sorry... it's just that there's a dust storm here in Califonia and I can't see what you're saying...!
2002-03-22 06:10:58 PM
"...we obviously worry about asthma flares .."

Me too. I always carry asthma flares in the back of my truck.

I suck.
2002-03-22 06:11:09 PM
Great. Now my allergies are going to act up and my eyes will be slightly closed and my skin may turn a tint of yellow... damn.
2002-03-22 06:12:47 PM
Maybe we can call on Godzilla to thwart our enemies dust cloud of doom. Oh wait, Godzilla's on their side..
2002-03-22 06:13:08 PM
All I know is that I'm going to shiat my pants if I see a giant mummy head comming at me.
2002-03-22 06:18:57 PM
This reminds me of the one time I was eating at Chung Pao Long's and an enormous dust cloud came out from the back of the kitchen. It was "sparky" the dog, running as fast as he could to safety.
2002-03-22 06:24:18 PM
We have no choice but to scramble a tornado or two up next to it and force that Commie DustStorm to Crash Land in Vancouver.

Let them damn Cannucks deal with it.
2002-03-22 06:24:44 PM
Ah chewww
2002-03-22 06:27:28 PM
Am I the only one reminded of the killer dust cloud from Africa that never ammounted to anything? I can't find the link, but it's in the archives somewhere.
2002-03-22 06:29:48 PM
I lived in China for the better part of a year....beware, the yellow plague...
2002-03-22 06:30:24 PM
I've been to Beijing - they have bigger problems than sandstorms - its called Hard Rock Cafe and McDonalds.
2002-03-22 06:32:00 PM
Hard Rock Beijing Rocks....Home of the Harlots!!!!
2002-03-22 06:39:22 PM
I love how the media tries to focus your attention to something like this when there are much worse things in the air that come from your own country... or mine for that matter

tres rico suave
2002-03-22 06:42:13 PM
It's kinda like when I'm in a restaurant and the people at the table next to me start making funny faces and looking around.
2002-03-22 06:42:56 PM
It will probably just settle on all of the useless kitsch crap we already have in this country, that was made in China.
2002-03-22 06:46:53 PM
Fascinating! Let me make sure I understand this: there is weather happenning elsewhere in the world?
2002-03-22 06:49:55 PM
Did somebody say McDonalds?

2002-03-22 06:54:43 PM
Stevearooni: Don't keep up with basic science, hmm? This has happened before, with dust from Asia as well as Mt. St. Helens ash. I bet a Google search on "The Year Without A Summer" will yield an extreme example for you as well.
2002-03-22 07:02:40 PM
Great. I finally get a desk with a view, and this shiat will happen. I'm on 3rd over looking the ferries on Elloitt Bay. It's an awesome view, and it will be runied. Thanks a lot, Mother Nature!
2002-03-22 07:06:50 PM
What a relief! I was wondering how I was going to afford to visit China. Now it's coming to visit me! Hurrah!
2002-03-22 07:09:35 PM
See the Red Menace is encompassing the globe!

We need Captain America and his super powers!
2002-03-22 07:10:23 PM
It would be fun to catch all that dust and drop it onto Hollywood durring the Oscars......
2002-03-22 07:19:27 PM
We have enough friggin' dust storms in Texas as it is. I could easily wash my car every three days nine months out of the year.
2002-03-22 07:20:59 PM
FF: Shouldn't you be Femme Natale?
2002-03-22 07:27:21 PM
This happened last year and I'm still coming down.
2002-03-22 07:30:40 PM
Is this the kind of dust that turns people inside out?
2002-03-22 07:32:34 PM
"Millions of Chinese are walking the streets with masks..."

They've been doing that in my neighborhood for years.

2002-03-22 09:17:30 PM
Aj_roller, I just thought I'd make the joke before every stand-up comedian or talk-show host decides to make it. Thanks though %)
2002-03-22 10:01:45 PM

2002-03-22 10:25:52 PM
