She described it as being covered almost completely with dark hair about two inches long.

Hmm, sounds like most of the guys on my old High School football team.

I wonder how long it will take for someone to work the US '04 election into this subject and start la guerre flamable.

I'm scared.

Maybe they should send in TAPS

Stones from Her Eyes - If you think stones raining from the sky are unusual, how about when they drop out of a girls eyes? In October, a 15-year-old girl from Jharkhand, New Zealand was taken to a hospital because tiny stones were emerging from the corners of her eyes. The doctors admitted they had never seen anything like it and were at a loss to explain it. Before the stones dropped out, the girl reported terrible headaches

I actually saw this on video. She was pulling little stones out of the eyelid. Like the guy who shoots milk out of his eye, only cooler.

Actually, this stuff has always been really interesting to me. I mean, sure, more than half is easily debunked, but there's always that small percentage that leaves wondering, "What if...?"

Fun times.

"The janitors had experience with a ghost theyve named George, a female ghost in dress and heels, and a spirit that like to take control of an elevator."

And the words constantly heard from that elevator? "Third floor, lingerie" George is always sweating and staring at the female in the dress and heels.
2004-12-29 06:28:32 PM

I thought of the same exact thing/movie when I saw that word.
2004-12-29 06:29:09 PM
What a bunch of crap. It's like those "Ghost Hunter" douches who record 7 hours of tape in a house and then hear something that could vaguely sound like "GET OUT!" and then we all shiat ourselves. I dare any ghost or demon to haunt me tonight. I DARE you. That outta do it. I'll report back.

At the very least with today's technology we could dredge that Loch Ness and nab that thing, Burnsy-style.

Easily the # 1 paranormal event is the way this site mysteriously and supernaturally farks my mozilla browser every time I try to look at it.

Well, thanks to the story of the stones from the girls' eyes, I think I have a cool D&D campaign idea.

skittlesring: What can't they make a top ten list out of?

The best planets in our solar system.

Unless they count Charon. But you shouldn't trust those people.

Hadwin said little Jessica told her she had been raped and strangled to death in 1908, and her body stuffed in the pubs fireplace; she said her body was still in the pub. Now a psychic can tell any story and it can be difficult to verify it. However, in this case, a bit of digging was done in the wall where the pubs old fireplace used to be. Sure enough, a lock of hair, a heel of a shoe and fragments of clothing from a little girl were found just where Jessicas ghost said they would be.

Well I'm convinced. Obviously a lock of hair et al could be nothing other than the body the psychic promised.

Best use of Akbar in a Photo Shop contest

Everybody quiet, I'm getting something from beyond.. I'm seeing letters.. B, and S. Does that mean something to anyone in the audience?
2004-12-29 06:35:39 PM
"Okay, how the heck did the sox victory miss the list?"

I agree, especially considering that it happened under a lunar eclipse.

Pat Robertson predicted Bush in a landslide. And there was a landslide which wiped out several bushes. Spooky.

"She said she sensed as many as 37 spirits in the pub, but in particular tuned in to the ghost of a six-year-old girl named Jessica Ann Hargreaves"

Show me three that are funny and I will send you a six pack of your choice.

That's a tough call: Do I go on the quest that will ultimately reward me with free beer, or do I let my laziness conquer my thirst for beer?

Decisions, decisions...
2004-12-29 06:49:24 PM
i like how each one cited some picture or video then didn't show shiat.

I wish i still believed in all that crap, but unfortunately can't escape the reailty that the universe is a rational, boring place.

Except for quantum entanglement, of course.

1. Paris Hilton strangely has a career simply because her parents have money

4. Bush eerily fails to understand that 59 million people voted against him and he still has a mandate from the masses
5. My Powerball picks have, oddly, failed to result in a win, even though I have played the numbers that the fortune cookie told me to
6. Uneducated people still seeing unexplained phenomena despite overwhelming evidence that they are just ignorant monkeys wasting everyone's time--and it's almost 2005!
7. Church of the SubGenius spookily quiet over last few years despite growing evidence that [starkly removed]
8. Fnord

Red Sox winning the World Series didn't make it?
2004-12-29 06:59:23 PM
You know what really amuses me about this sort of shiat? That many the same people who believe in ghosts, holy water, mystical energies, and other nonsene also believe in Jeebus and his magic book, despite the fact that the two are completely incompatible with each other.
2004-12-29 06:59:37 PM
Krik81 said " ... the universe is a rational, boring place."

You saw the '04 'election' right?

(We should invent a new Godwin)

I wish i still believed in all that crap, but unfortunately can't escape the reailty that the universe is a rational, boring place.

Except for quantum entanglement, of course.

Good example. There's a lot spookier shiat going on the quantun level of your average atom than some yokel seeing a yeti or his dead grandmother floating around.

Mugato: I've also had a standing offer with any available paranormal entities to do whatever they want to me, maybe just have a nice chat, for a couple of years now.

Perhaps we're just not advertising in the right places.

Anyone notice the large number of paranormal weirdness being posted to Normal Fark? Zoinks!

Regardless, I believe ghosts exist, not because of some holy rhetoric either, but because I'd prefer to believe that the way I _feel_ is more important than what I _do_ I mean, how could every single paranormal thing be completely wrong? Certainly, it's likely that there will be a buncha hoaxes at every different time of the day but there has to be some kind of mysticism in the world, everyone's just got it buried under 80 million tons of logic.

If you were reading some of my other posts in the other paranormal threads I'd like to ask a question. Has anyone ever had a psychic reader try to do a reading inside of a nuclear power plant? If they were a real psychic, I'd bet they would get a re-al big headache. Of course, it's all just phony, right?

Jharkhand, New Zealand?
WTF? I live in New Zealand and I am 99 percent sure there is no Jharkhand here
2004-12-29 07:13:13 PM

I think my bedroom might be haunted or at least enchanted. Every morning when I wake up I find that certain parts of my body have turned to stone. This mysterious phenomenon seems to go away shortly after I get up and leave my room.
