Well seeing that bottled water comes from city water I guess we know why everyone in Hollywood is so crazy.
2002-03-04 11:03:48 AM
My tap water is pure Virgin Islands rainwater. No public water around here.
2002-03-04 11:04:13 AM
a top environmental scientist says water should be officially reclassified as a narcotic

Wa-hey! Someone finally found a way to put your friendly neighborhood corner drug dealer out of business!
2002-03-04 11:04:15 AM
That's freaking hillarious. I can't wait to see what the few million tabloid belivers do with this info.
2002-03-04 11:04:16 AM
In other news, my hovercraft is full of eels.
2002-03-04 11:04:45 AM
Damn, that was lame beyond lame. Did that guy from BBspot write this?
2002-03-04 11:05:37 AM
Tap water has: Poop, drugs, blood, sperm, dead things. Just in very small numbers. But IT HAS IT!

I suck today.
2002-03-04 11:06:00 AM

I was unaware that the water we flushed branched around and back into the faucet.
2002-03-04 11:07:44 AM
Its that damn floridation.

What are they doing now, putting palm trees in it?
2002-03-04 11:08:20 AM
ugh, Boobies didn't work...
was gonna make a comment about going to get another glass of water... -shrugs- ah well...
2002-03-04 11:08:45 AM
I knew they had to put something in it to make it so damned addictive. It's heavy duty stuff. I crave it everyday, especially if I start the night with alcohol. Next thing you know, I've moved on to water and explaining to some fat girl why she has to leave, preferrably out the back. Better make it illegal... for the sake of the children.
2002-03-04 11:09:11 AM
the heck? why are all my posts being screwed up?
2002-03-04 11:10:05 AM
Drinking reclaimed sewer water...hmmmmmm, tasty! Now for the addicted, we need a site map of the country where the most dumping is going on, and where the best drugs!
2002-03-04 11:12:17 AM
I will have to go and get a 55 gallon drum now

"A glass of water won't kill you, but at minimum it'll give you a decent buzz."

Damn it. I have a well.
*Stomps away muttering* Stupid no drug water.
2002-03-04 11:15:56 AM
I got some primo tap fo' sale here. First sample free.
2002-03-04 11:16:00 AM
Do not drink out of the toilet before cleaning house.
2002-03-04 11:16:48 AM
This is suspicious to say the least, as they found no pesticides & herbicides from the polluting corn farmers.
2002-03-04 11:17:35 AM
No more beer for me. Strickly a water man from now on.
2002-03-04 11:18:45 AM
lol. Drink up.
2002-03-04 11:22:25 AM
This is Bullshiat, to say the least. First who is the author of the report, and what are his credentials. Second, it said he only drugs to show up were amphetamines laced with valium. Laced?? Must have been a big molecule to get through the fitering system. AND lastly, what is the name of this report so those of us who don't have enough time on our hands can verify his testing methods?
2002-03-04 11:23:19 AM
It came from the Weekly World HAS to be true..(WWN is the home of bat boy for all those that don't know)
2002-03-04 11:24:11 AM
don't drink the water, fish fark in it.
2002-03-04 11:24:11 AM
Prime Hopper: I think everyone knows that this is BS. For Jeebus sake it is an article from the Weekly World News. It is a grocery store rag.
2002-03-04 11:25:12 AM
Umm Prime Hopper,

It's the "Weekly World News". Get it?
2002-03-04 11:26:00 AM
At least my drugs aren't full of tap water.
2002-03-04 11:30:52 AM
Since I work in the water industry I feel I should comment on this...

On second thought, since it's all BS, there is no reason to.

I put the water where I live under a microscope and it had small creatures who seemed to be throwing rocks at each other.

There were globs of mud and many swimming protozoa.

I now transport my drinking water from a more trusted source and take fewer sick days.
2002-03-04 11:42:40 AM
.. and to think .. we have all this stuff PIPED IN to our homes.

God, I love this country.
2002-03-04 11:46:03 AM
Isn't Weekly World News the parent company of NewsMax?
2002-03-04 11:49:00 AM
Funny part was the kids drinking the water. Does anyone know *any* kids that drink tapwater?
2002-03-04 12:07:12 PM
"Hey, is there something in this water?"

"No, M'Lord."

"Well, that it away and put something in it!"

Life, the Universe, and Everything
2002-03-04 12:07:41 PM
The stories that you really hope aren't true... are. And the stories you really wish could be true... aren't. It sucks.
2002-03-04 12:09:51 PM
All of your water are belong to us!
2002-03-04 12:11:02 PM
That's great but how do you light it?
2002-03-04 12:25:11 PM
So a wastewater treatment plant can turn shiat into water, but can't take the flushed drugs out? Ok that makes sense.
2002-03-04 12:38:36 PM
You want to know something really scary? The same story ran in the Spokesman-Review here in Spokane. Actually the same idea, but not so Weekly World News.
2002-03-04 12:41:06 PM
Oh great, WWN online has come back, more crapola for Fark to put up every day.

The funniest thing they ever put up was the rant last month from the editor blaming you all for not buying the mag and how they were shutting down.
Might have known it was just made up crap, as usual.
2002-03-04 12:45:32 PM

How will those drug pushers change from carrying dime bags to carrying Liter bottles of water ? They'll throw their backs out !!!!

Of course the upside is if the pigs ... er ... cops are chasing you, you just pour the evidence down the stormdrain...
2002-03-04 01:01:51 PM

"I was able to get them to clean their rooms while they were 'up,'" said Rudello. "But they'd go overboard, vacuuming the carpet till the pile was mowed down to nothing!"

I wonder if he replaced the carpet, or went to linoleum?
2002-03-04 01:10:04 PM
What's kinda scary is the amount of US currency that has traces of cocaine on it.
