When I first heard about Futurama, that scene is what popped up as the first hit. I only saw a few minutes of the ending, but I wrote Futurama off completely on that basis.

The whole point of that episode was that life is unfair in the worst way. You can't make it right. You can't retcon it. You can't sweep it under the rug.

Life goes on, bra, or it doesn't.

Y'all either ain't got a handle on life or you despise art and I'm not sure which is worse.
