Good luck getting through town with those exhaust stacks intact, they look like they're going to pull a boner for sure.  Probably already did.

Some of those are beautiful for sure. Really liked the one in front of the Milwaukee Art museum

Did someone say big rigs? Did the best looking one get a trophy?

There was a time when adding nekkid wimmen was enough, now they need an art museum.  You see so many truck drivers at art museums, you know, they're regular patrons.

I always wanted to get a custom Peterbilt; the one that nature gave me is pretty generic.

There was a brief time when I was around 10 that I wanted to drive a rig. Seemed like a good life, seeing the country, etc. And I wanted a cab much like that flat-nose featured in TFA.

/didn't have to grow up much to be disabused of any ideals about truck driving

8 year old me loved that slide show.

"This Fashion Photographer Shoots the Most Beautiful Big-Rigs on Earth"

No, as far as TFA shows, he exclusively shoots American Peterbilts. I got bored about ten repetitive pics in. No variety except for the now-useless low riders.

And I like looking at trucks. I notice nicely done ones often on my commute.

Overly staged, little variation in style, too much post ... sounds like fashion photography to me

Meh. Looks like magazine advertisements.

The problem with having rigs all dolled up like that is you gotta spend as much time cleaning them as you do driving them.

Have to agree with  you here about the good 'ol K-Whopper.  Only two of them in that entire slideshow with the rest being Peterbilts.

Guy at work went to drive trucks for about 3-4 months. He took the course and everything.  Was back and said it was back breaking work.  Desk job suited him better.

I don't know why, but that pattern on the paint job makes me want to quit looking at it.  Something about that color/pattern combo is just off for some reason - even though objectively they're pretty well done

They're all Peterbilts.  Does no one want to customize a Mack?

Also, for drivers who want to own their own rigs, I hear they're extremely expensive and it takes forever to get them paid off. I can only imagine how much more expensive it would be if you want to customize your vehicle.

I feel the same, I think it's a combination of color+thickness of the stripes. Everything looks overly squared and blocky.

I dunno, I mean as far as dodging a diesel that starts at a stop goes, being right next to it sounds pretty ideal

/mind you when it turns around and comes back at speed things get a lot more interesting
