Sonny Crockett called,

A gator that size terrorized the lake I live next to in Georgia.

Word got out that there was a gator in the lake and the wildlife people confirmed that they had spotted a gator "about 4 feet long" but hadn't captured it.  People lost their minds.  I used to paddle a tiny kayak in the Everglades so I was laughing my ass off.

I can't tell you how many people I know that refused to let their kids anywhere near the lake.  It didn't matter that the gator was seen 10 miles from their part of the lake.  People wouldn't go out on their boats, either, or even go near their docks.

A trapper finally caught it.

Ok, someone out there deserves either a round of applause for an epic prank,
or a stern lecture on why it should have been intentional...

The look on the trapper's face definitely says it all....

If I ever own property along water, I am going to put out a couple of concrete alligator statues, paint them green, and then set up motion sensor speakers in the trees and pushes near them to hiss and make aggressive gator sounds if anyone gets too close.

It sure does.  When I saw it on the news I couldn't stop laughing for 5 solid minutes and had sporadic giggles for a good 4 days.

As a local, I'd like to slightly correct that to "Jew-knee-at-ah".  It's 4 syllables, not 3.\

There's a lot of porn stores on the stretch of Route 15 - are we sure the three-foot rubber toy wasn't lost from there?

And 40-foot-black snake is the name of my Conjoined Twin Commodores Cover Band

I always thought Juniata would be a nice name for a girl

Frankenstown? Wo ist Frankstown. The Juanita River should like it should be further South than PA.

Some Farker is looking for news about Pennsylvania. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Makes a nice change from all Florida, all the time.

Even Republicans can understand that.
