Members of government didn't need to be involved and very likely did nothing to effect content. Just common sense, decency and having a basic idea about brand protections were involved at pre musk Twitter. Other than advertising for gold schemes, catheters, Ed pills and adult diapers no company wants to be associated with batshiat insane statements.

Thay sucks. It's hell to try and work while going thru chemo. I could have handled these freaking hearings when I was doing it. I was able to work, and actually got hired about 2 months after my diagnosis, with no issues. They were totally great working with me. But it was exhausting. We had a big warehouse, 250,000 Sq ft, and one day, just two times out to the far corner and back, I had to go home. Poor dude, I feel for him. Friends at work told me that they thought I was on death's door when I started, and that was only a third of the way thru chemo.

Ironically, that's the knky hair that didn't fall out. I eventually just shaved it in anticipation, but there was always stubble. Lost everything else though, eyebrows were the weirdest.

And then he might have further issues people can use against him. Chemo Gabe me neuropathy in my feet, and to a lesser extent, my hands. I could walk, but I went from a cat's grace, mostly silent, to slapping my feet on the ground like Frankenstein's monster. Also, the slightest uneven floor could cause me to stumble.

I hope it doesn't fark him up that bad, people will use it against him. "Oh look, that frail man can't even walk, how can he lead?", shiat like that.

The problem America has (and the rest of the world I suppose) is that for 40% of the population, it really doesn't matter what gets said in Congress, or any hallowed halls of politics.  40% has no truth, no reality, just feelings of anger, hate, distrust and a feeling the world has done them in.  Never mind they keep voting for and supporting the ones throwing them under the bus, they just blame everyone the TV tells them too.

Not one speech, not one comment by an army of experts will change a single vote in Congress.   The K street lunch and donation out in front should have told you that.

/But we already knew that, we just all hope for the game to start making someone other than the billionaires win.

The assassination of General Soleimani was a war crime by Trump, and needs to be prosecuted. The Hague may be our only hope to prosecute Trump.

Soleimani was in fact a civilian, and not a legitimate military target. The title of General was honorific, like Colonel Sanders, and the uniform was really just for show.

Soleimani was in Iraq on a genuine humanitarian mission to help the people of Iraq.

See, the Orange Orangutan never knew that Iran was a staunch Russian ally, and that's why he was so hard on them.

It was the same with Venezuela, Cuba, and Syria.

Wait, it's going to take an act of Congress to find out that Russian government proagandists are using social media to sway Americans to believe false news? Something everyone knows already (yet every GOPer and GOP voter chooses not to believe) is and has been happening. Along with Trump's incessant comments that Putin is a good guy, (before, during, and after Trump's Kakistocracy), and all of Trump's supporters believing any and everything out of Trump's mouth, and that Trump's social media statements are US policy.

And, Congress is just learning this? Many things we knew about Trump and Russia for decades, why is now the start point when any person can look up the time line of Trump's activities in Russia, follow the money not the Tweets. But, the tweets are the evidence of Sedition and Subversion with Foreign and Domestic operatives, both in and out of public office, that coerced the people of Trump's coup attempt, and Tweets can be traced to thier source's.

The threat to US Democracy is, has been, established, yet Congress is literally dragging it's feet to "heal" America. Does US law truly only mean for those not elected?

Yeah, the idiot GOP got played by Elon's cherry-picked Twitter Files and went running with an investigation without looking into the Twitter Files or asking questions about them. Hell, when Musk released them. Jack Dorsey made a public statement telling Musk that he must release them all, and not just a cherry picked few.
