Last summer, I took my mom to the doctor for a follow up appointment, nothing major. I took my kids and we were all going to get ice cream after.

While we're sitting in the car waiting for my mother, a car pulls into the parking space next to us, but I can hear the car revving up. Older lady must have missed the brake and stepped on the gas and plowed right into the building.

Her airbag deployed so she lived to tell the tale. But boy was it terrifying to witness. I saw the airbag go off. Fortunately we were right in front of a doctors office so three nurses and a doctor were on the spot.

The driver was probably attempting a smash and grab on the eye glass display. Based on what my optometrist charges, there is like a million dollars worth of frames in one of those displays.
