Mom is obviously mentally deficient.  The kind of mental deficient that laughs at everything like a toddler but has no idea what to do about anything because she has the mental capacity of a toddler.

Exactly. I think of me and my kids, or me and my dad.  This wouldn't be national news, and it may not even be family lore.  The biggest memory being that mom's pan got ruined and she was pissed that she had to run out and buy borrow a pan to get her baking obligation done.

Meixel joked this kind of thing runs in the family, as she got her legs stuck in a plastic chair when she was a child.
