Mexican pizza trucks on every corner?

Now I want Mexican pizza for lunch (with a side of nachos and maybe a Pepsi).

That and items like bean burritos are $2.59 now vs. $1.49 in 2020

2001 - bean burrito: $0.69
2020 - bean burrito: $1.49
2023 - bean burrito: $2.59

that seems linear...

An a nice, quiet toilet all to myself.

A pedestrian walks past the American chain of fast-food restaurants Taco Bell in Spain.

I only saw one Mexican restaurant in Spain. It was called "La Florida."

France has a Tex Mex chain called Indiana Cafe.  https://www.indianacafe.fr/carte-restaurants/menu-set.html

Once they got rid of the green onions, the Mexican Pizza and Nachos Bell Grande were never the same.

I was once visiting people in Paris, and they took me to a Mexican place that was... underwhelming.

Someone once took me to BBQ place in LA.  It was fine, but I would have rather had Mexican or sushi.

It always depends where you go. There had been a BBQ place in Compton that got awesome reviews. It moved up to mid-city LA, on the restaurant row on La Brea. I can imagine the location is a bit better for business.

Decades ago, business took me to Chicago. My boss wanted Mexican, so I found out salsa in Chicago was ketchup with chopped onions. The Hungarian place we hit the next day was great.

Chicago has 2nd most Mexican immigrants of any US city.  More than Dallas and Houston.

Your boss didn't know what he was doing.  Did he take you to Pepe's?

A. You are right about him not knowing what he was doing. He also wasn't very good at picking restaurants. B. The client took us to the Hungarian place.

And if they could make decent salsa, they'd let them in those cities or even Los Angeles.  Why else do you think they got sent to Chicago?
