I wonder what T.O. is doing nowadays....

Thankfully, I have never had food poisoning from sushi.

FTFA:

McNabb's advice to Hurts: "Just like a regular season game, continue to prepare, enjoy the moment...stay engaged."

Ah yes....that cliché that had been said by many former/current players and coaches over the past few decade.

What would you rather he say?

"Bro...this could be the only time in your career you get to play for a championship. Biggest game of your life, so make sure you wind yourself up to the point of worry, dont sleep the night before, get a case of the shiats from self-induced IBS, and most importantly, when the game is on the line...make sure you're so stressed about it that you puke up Chunky soup all over the field in the middle of the huddle."

Is that the advice you'd want to hear?

His advice: "Hey guys. I'm Donovan McNabb. And I play quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, and I'm here to tell you that you can too, if you start every day with a hearty breakfast from McDonald's. Uh, like the new sausage egg McGriddle value meal, available now for a limited time for under five dollars. Uh, remember guys, real champs eat at McDonalds! I'm lovin' it."

Now, McNabb is passing the torch, mentoring Jalen Hurts.

Well, the Eagles should be able to catch every ball thrown at their feet now, so they have that going for them.

Thankfully, according to Action News, "mentoring" simply means providing a generic piece of advice via local news reporter.

Always amazed me that TO caught like 10 passes for 120 yards in the super bowl on a broken leg yet had a reputation for not putting in the effort.

Dude was absolutely a nut, but he played hard.

People love to shiat on McNabb, but every one of us would love to have a resume that included 4 straight conference championship games.

I don't recall him being knocked for lack of effort. It was always his other antics.

Hey, that wasn't Donovan McNabb - it was Don Cheadle!

The Chunky Soup reference made me chuckle, so I am going to say yes.

He made it look too easy and he was very confident in his abilities.  A lotta people don't like that sorta thing.  He shoulda been more humble and thanked Jebus more.  /s

I always thought it was that he wasn't a team player. Which, still BS.

I must have missed a reference that was not in the article.
