You mean we're not getting another very special episode where Omega learns a valuable lesson about friendship and teamwork?

I was getting worried.   Episode 2 was really good, and they followed that up with that race dreck and then adventures with wookies.   I liked season 1.  There was a whole story there.   I don't want it to turn into "The Wacky Hijinks of Bad Batch."

The crosshairs episode was surprisingly dark & a great character piece on his obsession with following orders, including cold blooded murder. I'd have happily seen that episode shoehorned into Andor.

The rest of the series has been more kid friendly & less gripping. These episodes are more to form.

Also nice to see more of Coruscant. It's the Trantor from Foundation that looks better than the Apple TV Foundation series Trantor, which is telling. I can always tell when a show maker "gets" source material & pays tribute to it properly.

I know they're doomed. Watching them fight against their doom is both beautiful and horrendous.

After 3 episodes of filler

The whole series is filler as it's a prequel.

What makes a filler episode?

The ep when the Batch got tied up in the pod racing thing was called filler too but it established some important plot points that will likely come back.

That is: Cyd is not to be trusted
She had a legitimate debt to pay from a lost bet and she used the Batch to threaten the gang collecting. The Batch were on the wrong side and, because of their dependence on Cyd, they had to go along with it.

Bah. I don't know. Call it whatever you want, I'll still likely watch.

Sure as sh*t there's no SW property are that doesn't bring out a list of asinine whining.

THE WHOLE SERIES IS FILLER, dipshiats. Can you people just enjoy some adventure episodes that don't entail the fate of the whole galaxy?
F*cking christ. Seriously, you people are the absolute worst fandom.
THE. WORST

I hate when my cartoons have filler episodes. Really destroys the integrity.

I thought she was already established as shady though admittedly not as explicitly as in that episode.

I won't submit the typo for correction. It is an accidental improvement.

It's fun and fills the gap before season 2 of Andor. It's dark for a kids show but a lot of plots are from good 70s and 90s crime movies, so also feels a bit by the numbers. I'll still smoke a bowl and watch this later

They're going to need a lot more to fill the gap before season 2 of Andor.

I don't think we'll be seeing that until mid-late 2024.

I have a feeling that the "dreck" will be called back in the later episodes for reasons.

Well that leaves time for two more seasons of bad batch and I guess some other spin offs?  Also hopefully some real Lego sets, though the parody one is hilarious

I imagine we'll get some of the other shows as well during that period (Ashoka, Acolyte).

It's funny, The Bad Batch and Andor made me realize... in the Original Trilogy, we hardly ever saw "what life was like under the Empire."  We mostly saw Vader, Stormtroopers, and some Imperial officers jetting about on Star Destroyers pursuing the heroes.  Almost all the action took place in remote locales like Tatooine, and the big finale was basically on a military base orbiting a jungle planet.  We just kind of *assumed* that the Empire was bad and oppressive, but having these series fill in the blanks is good.  Not filler.

Also, more Palpatine is always a good thing.

Man... this show, Visions s2, Mandalorian s3, and the Ahsoka show... why, I'm in pizzaface paradise!  Glavin.  This is such a good year.
