Wow...just when you think someone couldn't top Trump's McDonald's dinners for VIPs this guy goes and blows it out of the water.

Can you imagine spending a decade or two clawing your way up the ranks of the State Department, and now you're at the point where you directly meet with the head of state of large and important countries.  You show up for your meeting in Brazil, and the guy's like "sweet, nice to meet you. Help yourself to some Capri-Sol and Go-gurt."

His A-1 was good for a month after he was no longer President. It expired the end of last month and has since applie for a 6 month tourist visa.

The DHS has to want to deport someone and it is far easier to deport a poor no name non-english speaking immigrant than a former President

How is Bolsonaro not wanted in Brazil?


They're probably trying to decide if it's worth the trouble to bring him back and put him on trial, or just let him ride out the rest of his life in Florida, where at least he's not causing any trouble for the government in power. He's not being a political prisoner or a martyr.  He's kind of just being a sore loser and sort of pitiful.

The problem with bringing him back is that there's a track record of people coming back from exile only to regain power, or at least cause a lot of problems. Remember Napoleon?
