Last August, Busch and his family were inside the Mall of America in suburban Minneapolis when shots were fired. They were able to safely leave the mall unharmed.

Did he forget that he had a gun that time, too?

Because I am assured that these good guys with guns are ready & willing to run toward danger.

If he was truly sorry he would be willing to serve his time in prison

A two-time NASCAR champion and the winningest active driver in the Cup Series, Busch acknowledged the situation in a Monday social media post. He said he has "a valid concealed carry permit from my local authority and adhere to all handgun laws, but I made a mistake by forgetting it was in my bag.

LOL these farking people.

"Completely lost track of my death machine, happens all the time. BTW, I'm considered a responsible owner by the same kind of idiots that routinely lose track of their death machines."

I called it in the last thread about this.  He didn't want to pay the bribe fine, ended up with a no-trial prison sentence.  His lawyers know how to play the game and paid it, made him apologize, he gets to come back to the U.S.

Mexico is corrupt as all fark.  When they strongly suggest paying a fee, fine, bond, whatever, just pay the farking thing.  It's a bribe and if you don't do it you have absolutely no legal recourse.  Anybody going to Mexico should know this.

He was just sorry enough to buy his way out out of prison like any other rich person.

Busch wrote. "When it was discovered, I fully cooperated with the authorities, accepted the penalties, and returned to North Carolina.
"I apologize for my mistake and appreciate the respect shown by all parties as we resolved the matter. My family and I consider this issue closed."

"Accepted the penalties by paying a bribe followed by another bribe."

Also, oh....you consider it closed. People definitely can't talk about it, then, I guess.

The federal attorney general's office said the judge decided to allow a conditional punishment and let Busch leave Mexico after he paid a bond. The office did not say how much he paid.

When you get pulled over you ask how much the ticket is and you just pay it in cash on the spot.

Yeeeeeep.  My cousin got caught smoking weed in Mexico a number of years back.  I think he only had to bribe the officer with like $20 or so.

The important thing is to not overpay, or you might start getting more attention.

I bet the judge also specified that he had to leave the country on a plane, not driving a car. No need to endanger any more lives with his poor driving skills.
