It's a wordy article full of crappy ads but the point ain't bad. Either invest in now or rebuild for tomorrow but you can't try to pretend to do both. That path leads to failure and long term mediocrity. Steph won't be there forever and team planning around having a once in a lifetime like Steph is unrealistic. Win with him now or trade and rebuild for 5 years from now.

Draymond is their best defensive player and the team is still one of the worst in allowing points.   Draymond is also the main culprit when it comes to fouling the other team, and they have been outscored by over 200 pts just at the FT line.   Draymond also turns the ball over more than anyone else on the team.

They have all the scoring they need.   Find other younger players who can prevent the other team from scoring without giving them more opportunities to do so at the FT line.

It's a few days later and the Mavs trading for Kyrie is still the stupidest trade I've ever seen. Way to make your best player worse.
