Did anyone else read that headline at first as "A Foot Lover's Guide to Phoenix?"

I'll take some Filibertos. My kingdom for one of their carne asada burritos. Just meat and cilantro and little cups of hot sauce.

Cafe Lalibela in Tempe.

If you like Ethiopian, it's worth the drive.

I can't remember the name of the place, but we ate at a good chinese place in Gilbert.  This was in early 2020, just as the pandemic had started to ramp up. At the time I wondered why they were such attentively hospitable and friendly folks, but the food was great, The restaurant was nearly empty, and it wasn't until later that I realized the idiots in Phoenix thought they might get covid from random Asian people.

They have Pane Bianco but I still like the tiny pizzeria in Heritage Square.

I once had a layover in Phoenix.

The plane had been sitting there on the tarmac with the window blinds up for hours in the summer.

They had to send someone in to lower the blinds in what must've been a sauna, so the air conditioner could try to do it's job.   It still took another hour or so until they decided it was safe enough for us to board.

/has eaten at Matt's Big Breakfast
//in the original location
///can't remember where else I ate at when I was there for a conference about a decade or so back
