(Yahoo)   Hall Of Famer Dick Vermeil coached the Eagles and the Chiefs, but refuses to pick a winner, presumptively because he'd probably start crying   (sports.yahoo.com) divider line

He's just being coy.  The Chiefs haven't met Hasson Reddick yet.

He actually has his own winery.  If I ever make it to Napa, I will definitely check it out,

Chiefs by 36, with Hurts injured on the Eagles' first possession.

I'd say "offensive drive" but everything about Philly is offensive.

If he can't make the pick then he should hand it over to Mike Martz. That way we can all hit the bookies and safely bet on the opposite.

Why the 'dumbass' tag?

Been there a few times.  Wines are pretty good.

He's often in the tasting room in downtown Napa, which also has a lot of cool football photos / memorabilia in it:

I'm guessing he didn't want to chance influencing the betting lines. You degenerate gamblers ain't getting your hooks into Mr. Dick Vermeil.

1.5 over/under is current line on number of times Dick Vermeil mentioned in Super Bowl broadcast

RatBomb Why the 'dumbass' tag?

Subby is still upset about the '75 Rose Bowl.

and the loving shots of the Grand Canyon (5 hour drive, hell, they might as well show LA or Vegas)....

Tucson's mountains are still probably carrying snow and that's only a 2 hour drive.

Yes, it snows in the high desert areas of Arizona

I think the Chiefs win. It's close though. 60/40 or 55/45 probability.

My major fear is Gannon's defense against an elite QB. Look what Dak did against them in December.

I also keep waiting for Jalen to turn into a pumpkin. I don't think big games are good forte, but I hope he bounces back from a lackluster performance against the 9ers.

Dick Vermeil may have cried, but I hear Marion Campbell beefed.

Lots of great storylines for this game--Kelces, Andy/Nick swapping teams, two great young quarterbacks, lots of lifelong Eagles vets making one last stand.  And none of the storylines involve douchey people (with the exception of the Eagles reserve who got charged last week).

Should be a fun game. Eagles O and D lines win this game for us.

Did he heel it down the drain?
