Grocery stores as pick-up places is nothing new.

I was in the Market Street Safeway about 2 the other night, trying to make a salad. I was dressed as I normally am for side-dish preparation: high heels, black satin skirt and top and plenty of lip gloss.

I see these people at the store occasionally. Usually I assume they're coming right from work or something. Is dressing up to go to the grocery store something people actually do?

I usually look like a homeless person when going to the grocery store. Sometimes, if I'm feeling fancy, I might put on a clean pair of jeans!
