According to previous studies, it is harmless to plant and human cells.

For now.

That is awesome.  His name will live forever, and the fungi...won't.

Honestly, as much as I appreciate the work put in to finding biological solutions to biological problems they are only stop-gap measures.

Because sooner or later the stuff we're killing with the other stuff will evolve to be resistant to that stuff, and then we'll have made the bad stuff stronger and have to find new stuff to kill it.

Better to dump our resources into nan-machines that destroy the offending material mechanically and completely every time. Even if the damned things do somehow start to evolve defenses, machinery can be adapted much more rapidly than biology.

And how is your nanomachine research coming along?

Do you want Keanu-resistance?  Because this is how you get Keanu-resistance.

Seems to be a fairly recent development to give drugs amusing names. When I had Covid, they gave me Molnupiravir, which is named after Thor's hammer Mjölnir.

At scales so small, the difference between machinery and biology gets a little fuzzy.

When are we going to figure out how to properly classify fungi?

could we just as an internet culture driver suggest we replace Chuck Norris facts with Keanu Reeves facts?
