One stupid person proves the education system is failing as much as one snowball disproves climate change.

/Admittedly, that is one stupid person.

I'd like to submit that I've sautéed chili peppers using heat, and the end result was less hot chili peppers. Therefore, adding heat to the hot climate will make it not hot. Ipso Quo Facto.

According to Ward papastew Coun. Michael Janz, the presenter's name showed up over the video conference call as "Arun tysily" (Aren't I silly).

It's not just that he's stupid.

It's that he's stupid enough to not be aware how stupid he is.

And that ignorance of his own stupidity has motivated him to get up in public and make a statement that everyone else knows is stupid.

And that he is surrounded by enough similarly stupid people who will congratulate him on making what they all think is a non-stupid stunt.

And that because he's surrounded by other idiots, he'll be protected from the consequences of being stupid and he'll be immunised from curing his stupidity.

It's a complete cluster of stupidity.

Who will think of the civilisation? Lots of good. Some white men did it back then. Not their fault they weren't intersectional, inclusive, diverse, and equal. They just did it because it was good, interesting and mostly profitable. You would too, given the chance. Be honest. That was the benchmark.

Because they're so farking stupid, they have to hire specialists from out of province to actually get anything done.

So, their utter lack of cognitive capacity means plenty of high-paying jobs for people who have enough spare neurons to make a synapse.

The best part is when their utter stupidity leaves them without an income or savings to pay for all their expensive crap. I guess saving some of that $150k+ a year you get as a rig pig is soshulism or something. Then suddenly they want a bail-out. Just like Texans.

/used to work on drilling rigs in Alberta

Strictly speaking, Poe's Law only applies to internet posts.
This is more about satire being dead since sometime around 2016.

That's true.  But I guess it depends on how bad it gets.  If the rest of the world resembles the Mojave after climate change, then a 10 hour long night in a more temperature environment would be just fine by me.

Rural BC isn't that different from Alberta politically.  Urban BC is prohibitively expensive.

The previous party in power was very conservative so when Trudeau's party (Liberals) came into power they longed for the attacks on things moderates and progressives like, the lack of politicizing things that shouldn't be political, as well as some vague "dynasty" related hatred for the Trudeau name (his father Pierre Elliott Trudeau was PM from 1968 to 1979, and from 1980 to 1984).

Well, you've answered my first question.

Yeah, it was probably a bell pepper. What a ding-dong. What a maroon. What a ding-bat.

Ameri-duh has no monopolgy on dumbth. They'd like to, but the Universe does not play favourites. Stupidity is ever where, to quote Albert Einstein,

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

If you have spare time, and surely you do or you wouldn't be on fark.com, read more from Albert Einstein on this fascinating supbject:

https://www.azquotes.com/author/4399-Albert_Einstein/tag/stupidity

He truly was a wise man, a gentle man and a scholar. Mind you, one of his wives did most of the calculations as she was a brilliant mathematian in her own right, and women always get the boring busy work.

I'm no knee-jerk Conservative, I've voted both Liberal and NDP in my time, but I've got no time for the current PM. Yeah, he's better than Trump, but piles are better than colon cancer. Doesn't mean I want the former for the rest of my life either.

2023-02-07 3:43:27 PM
One evening at the Einstein residence:

Hey, Al, I just had a thought:

E=mc2.

Why do you say that, dear?

Because the area of a sphere around a source of energy increases at the rate of x2 where x is c, the speed of light.

Put that into proper mathematical language and you'll have something, my darling.
