Is this about that never-ending Seinfeld thing? I saw about ten minutes of it. Deeply unsettling, not at all funny (in a traditional sense) and somehow very hypnotic. Strange stuff, and AI will likely be the death of us all.

I enjoyed the show... stream... nightmare or whatever. Like folks said it was hypnotic.

It did tell one hilarious joke though.  At one point it said it was going to test out it's new routine. It said "Okay, here goes nothing" and then went silent until the scene cut away.

I listened to the banned material.

It wasn't funny. I wouldn't ban it but I wouldn't listen to it or support it either.

After reading fark comments, it was not anywhere near Dave Chappelle's comedy, either. Dave Chappelle saying black people want to wear heals to stop getting killed by cops is a cogent commentary on transphobic language being banned while the n word is on the top 100 songs and blacks get killed by police or otherwise on video every single week.

Unless you think it is not funny to speak ill of trans folk but it's funny black folks are killed every week on video and to hear n word n word n word every day on your favorite song, you should stfu.

If Dave Chappelle can say the n word and you laugh, why can't he joke about trans people? Because he is not trans? I guess his white people jokes are racist, too

At some point AI will be able to figure out all of the social filters humans put in place in everyday conversation, but that point isn't today. I expect that point will come right about the time we figure out full self-driving.

AI models sound like they know what they are talking about, but they don't actually know what they are talking about.

I like Dave and I think he's funny but I can also understand and empathize when someone is offended by his jokes because those people have been shiat on for so long. It's a bit of course correction.

The devs blame it on having to switch to an earlier-gen ChatGPT language model which doesn't have the moderation features of the newer models.   I blame it on making it responsive to Twitch chat which seems guaranteed to train it for stupidity.

Well, he wasn't joking about trans people so much as going on a cranky rant about them. He seemed to also imply that trans people get more respect and empathy than black people generally do  and that trans people don't deserve that as much as black people

It's not that he can't make jokes about trans people, it's just his jokes seemed really insensitive, uncaring and not that funny to a lot people that heard them.
