CSB: My boss called me over to his house after I closed his restaurant one evening in Jeffersonville, VT. He lives in North Cambridge.
He had a skunk in his garbage can on Pollander road and could I take it far away? Dude's on wheels due to his spine, so I say yeah, and I secure it in the bed of my pick up and head north on 108. There's a pull off on the left, south of Bakersfield, where the road used to go and it is the Lost Nation road exit. The old rt 108, or Post road as it was known goes way down below the new 108 road grade and is known as the goat path road now.  I pull off of the paved road, and  finish my beer. Get out and steel myself to launch this monochromal miscreant over the guardrail and into the roadside below ... Far below.
I heave the can, tipping downwards, and jerk it back as I feel the weight tip to the end and as he gets launched into the night, I holler, "There ya go, ya dirty bastard'" and I hear a woman scream, down below.

There is a car. Two people in it, I know because I count 4 legs sticking out of the passenger's door by the dashboard lights, and divide by 2.
I hear her scream "oh my God it's my husband he found us gitoffame!!"

And that is when the skunk sprayed both of them.

I overheard the postmistress the next day in Bakersfield talking about two different people coming in to get their mail who had been sprayed.
And they don't even live near each other, lands sakes.
