Eggs do not go on pizza. Yes I have seen breakfast pizzas but I just eat cold leftover pizza for breakfast.

Subby - do you mean it would be better than eggs on pizza, or better than reading yet another lame waste-of-time article from lifehacker?

It's a Japanese pizza sort of thing. The Japanese weren't exposed to pizza until like the 50s, and then they ran with it.

Eggs on pizza? It's going to taste terrible with the pineapple.

It would work with anchovies, though.

Eggs can be good on pizza with the right combination of toppings, but the one in the article picture looks like a crappy Totino's Party Pizza, which seems like something you'd only eat for breakfast if you were hung over.

Eggs on pizza is weird. But what I do sometimes is i will leave all my crusts and then a few hours later ill fry up some easy over eggs and use the yolks as a dip. And then my dog usually gets the whites because for this application I usually don't want to dick around getting the youl and white perfect at the same time. I just get the yolks melty and call it good.

Bacon, ham, pineapple, and red peppers.

Put hot sauce on it and you have a reason for the pineapple.

So close! Bacon, ham, pineapple, and onions for the win!

(No egg though, CLAIRE)

Actually I've seen a runny egg look superb on neopolitan style pies with garlic white sauce. What did our trash panda queen do, slap an egg on regular frozen pizza? I ain't giving her my clicks....

She did exactly that.
Crack an egg or two on a Torino's frozen pizza, douse it with hot sauce, and wash iat down with a Diet Coke.

FFS. Why the frozen pizza?

-melt cheese on a tostada and slap a fried egg and salsa/hot sauce on there

-heat up leftover rice, mix with kimchi, add fried egg and furikake

-use farking bread; make a grilled fried egg sandwich, or make avocado toast and top with fried egg

-or scramble the motherfarkers and do, you know, breakfast tacos

-
and so on

Are you going to wash the fry pan, spatula, and also do the work of frying the egg?

This is a lazy recipe for lazy people.

Work

of frying the egg? It's less time and fewer movements than farking with a goddamn frozen pizza.

Pan is very nonstick cast iron. I'd have to fark up pretty hard for it to need cleaning afterwards.

So yeah, sure. I'd have to wash a spatula.

I assumed she's going for the pizza regardless. The egg cooking on the pizza simultaneously is just to jazz things up.

If you want a fried egg, frying an egg doesn't require a frozen pizza.  But if you're just jazzing up a frozen pizza, frying the egg on its own creates dishes and adds more work and cleanup than cracking it directly onto the pizza.

Personally I like to skip the cooking and just put raw eggs on stuff, but it's safe here. offer void where salmonella

Rice for one.

You wanna eat just plain white rice? Probably not. Crack an egg on it. Maybe a little soy sauce. Now it's a dish.

Okonomiyaki "pizza." Okonomiyaki often has egg, and the traditions sort of blend sometimes. Inasmuch, given the chance, Japanese folks will drop a soft boiled egg on damn near anything.

I would love to see bulgogi added as a regular pizza topping. Who do we have to sacrifice to the Yama Kings?
